It has been implied (confirmed) that both brothers grew up on the streets.
But his penis is key to getting Korra to feel truly free, which she needs to master airbending.
You should read my fanfics.

Bo-Lin seems like the kind of person who needs a deep personal tragedy to grow up and actually turn in to a multi-dimensional character.
I don't want to ruin the series for myself just yet.
I was alway wondering, do people really have 'lotion' just standing around on their desk?
This GIF is amazing.

As far as she's concerned they may as well be sacks of meat.
Well yes. But he is the sack of meat she happens to need at the moment to unlock the Avatar state.
I can take this many ways.
Fan-Fiction is a go?
Now it truly begins.
Zuko was robbed.
That's also how I know Mako won't get Korra.
I was fine with Katara ending up with Aang.
Also I await the fanbase rage when Aang returns in spirit form, and doesn't act like his 12 year old self.
Team Zuko and Azula here..
He shouldn't, though. I look forward to seeing how he has progressed. They can give him a funny side like Tenzin but he should be mature.

I was just looking for an excuse to post that.
I'm looking forward to Aang as an adult. We got a lot of his 12 year old self already and I want to see him all wise and mature. I wonder what age we are going to meet him at. In the intro I think we see him as an adult with the beard, airbending. I feel like the statue is teenage Aang but I'm not sure. Tell me what you think:

Are we to assume that they are Airbenders as well?
Aang and Katara had two other children. Are we to assume that they are Airbenders as well? Maybe they aren't master though...

They couldn't use 12 year old Aang even if they wanted to. The kid who voice him is 19 now.
They are gone. .
The most logical assumption would be that he would look like he looked around the time of his death, just like Roku did. Then again, the other Avatars Aang spoke to didn't necessarily look old.
It was confirmed that Tenzin was the only airbender out of their children.
What? They're alive. Tenzin asks after them when he arrives at the water village.
You know, I said they'd be water benders or nothing at all, but we don't know exactly what being an avatar does with the genetic part of bending. Could he pass on earth and fire as well? Maybe they're saving that for later.

It is said Tenzin was the only airbender in the family though. The question now is what bending they got or if they got none at all.
I thought Katarra said they are "gone"
I always guessed that Avatars show up lookning like their own mental image of themselves, but I'm not sure. For most people when they die and are old, they see themselves as old men or women. Some Avatars must think of the younger adult version of themselves as the real image and the old age as just the passage of time. Some must have just died young.
I thought Katarra said they are "gone"
I meant the personality of 12 year old Aang.
We've seen an Aang statue, his children, old Katara, a Toph statue, and her children. There have been some Zuko mentions, but it's pretty weird to me that we haven't seen any statues or anything. I mean, he was the Fire Lord. Oh well, I'm sure they'll show something related to him sooner or later.
Maybe the Fire Lord statues are at the Fire Nation.

It's not very logical when you consider that he would be around 67 at his death.
So how old is Katara now?
Mako has red eyes? I didn't pay attention but that seems unnatural.

I always wondered how Kyoshi could stay alive that long and what a 200+ year old person would look like. I can't find any explanation for it though.
she was a fucking badass
Please, Kyoshi is the worst named Avatar.
