I'm black most people around me are Indian actually but I know more whites than blacks and we have a different quality to our voices.

In the morgue perhaps, but not to police. Police identified Trayvon on Feb 27th, hours after the incident occurred.
Not true 100 percent of the time. Some black people "sound white".
Then why didn't they contact his family? Why did his parents have to file a missing person report?

The Washington Posts Jonathan Capehart notes a police report that was completed at 3:07 a.m. on Feb. 27 lists Trayvons full name, city of birth, address and phone number. But yet, Trayvons body was reportedly tagged as a John Doe and his father wasnt informed of his death until after he filed a missing person report later on the 27th.
Just read the story about Spike Lee's tweet giving the address of George Zimmerman.. only not THAT George Zimmerman. What a moron.

This was my first reaction. Wouldn't he be treated at the scene with blood potentially wiped off? The video isn't sharp enough to determine the extent of bruises he has, if any at all. I don't see the significance of this video

1. Video appears that throws the extent of injuries Zimmerman and the PD claims he sustained in this altercation into... a suspect light.
2. The morgue director reports that there are no injuries on T. Martin's hands, consistent with someone punching the fuck out of someone else.
3. In a MSNBC video, apparently it is claimed that T. Martin was held as a 'John Doe' In the morgue for 3 days.
Anything I miss?

I am black as well, and most people around me are Indian, white, and asian (Bay Area).
As far as I know, there are no significant timbre and pitch differences in the voices. There are intonation differences, mostly due to different cultures (because the Indian people here are usually from India, go figure.)
I'm pretty sure you're either confusing inflection/enunciation and what not for the quality of the voice or you believe some silly stereotype.
I'm saying, there is no actual evidence for your claim.
Anyway, the only reason I originally objected to your statement was because I thought you were talking about something else (ie, 'talk black'/ 'talk white'). Seeing as that's not the case, I'll just drop it. Though, I think it's strange that you would believe this at all.

From the way it looks, everything above the narratives gets updated as needed. The narratives have their own timestamps: 2:28 for one and 3:29 for the other when the official "time completed" is 3:07.
I think it's fair for information such as the victim demographics to be updated as the investigation continues. You can't reasonably glean all of that on the spot at the scene.

Zimmerman and his lawyers are claiming he was beaten to a bloody pulp, though. Even if the blood is wiped off, the injuries they are claiming he suffered should be at least somewhat visible.
This story keeps getting worse and worse.

I don't get the significance of this. His parents were told the next morning. From one report I read, they identified the body via a photograph. What would be the ulterior motive for this, what would it do and why should it be seen as anything but a paperwork issue since the body was identified?
There's certainly stuff here pointing to coverups by the DA's office and probably the cops, but this one just as me stumped as to what it implies.

I may have missed it but it is there any evidence to the distance of the gunshot? Because if Zimmerman pulled the trigger in the middle of the fight that should be point-blank. So there should be some bloodstain from Trayvon on Zimmerman shirt or was that not taken into any evidence collection.

I think the morgue report is more damning then the video. If there was no trauma injury other then the bullet wound that ultimate means 1 thing, no struggle happened. He has no visible damage from inflicting wounds on Zimmerman (unless he had a weapon somehow and it disappeared!) and he also has no damage on his body from Zimmerman which might have depicted a struggle engaged from either side. Which ultimately means Trayvon Martin was shot without struggle, essentially shot in cold blood.
No clue, just something that is apparently of import? So I threw it in.

In theory Martin's clothing was taken into evidence. That could possibly shed light on distance away when he was shot because of gunshot residue.
So, when you were a kid and you watched Stars Wars for the first time, you knew that Darth Vader's voice was played by a black guy?
When I was a kid, I definitely didn't know that. I made no assumptions until now (except that the voice actor was most likely American.)

Figured as much, I often get "I talk white too".. Which doesn't get a good reaction from me.
With that said I personally can tell the difference, most of the time.
I would actually like to test this. But this thread isn't the right place. XD (maybe another thread, I can collect voice samples, lol)

I think it's more of a cultural thing than anything else. For example I can't tell an Asian american apart from a white american if they were talking and I couldn't see their faces. Same goes with blacks that live outside of the US.(I'd actually extend it to southern whites and blacks as they sound the same to me for the most part depending on where they are from) A British black person and a British white person sound exactly the same to me as well.

But why not also take Zimmerman's clothes and check it for residue. How did he hold the gun? If Trayvon was right on him and he shot him point blank there'd be evidence of that on his own clothes too. What kind of fucking cops are these? Did they just want to get back to watch the 2nd half of the allstar game?
