It makes you wonder if anyone read it though since the media have so many incorrect statements, as does Jesse Jackson who claims the police never used police tape to secure the area. It's one of the first things they do in the report after attempting to revive the victim.

As I said earlier, it would make sense if the demographics section of the report gets updated as the information is gathered. The actual statements by the officers have separate timestamps.

The police report also points out the injuries to Zimmermans face and head. Not sure why the media reported that the police didn't document it. It's in there.

I am trying to find the article, but apparently when the pistol was recovered by police, the mag was full and there was an empty case in the chamber.
This would mean that the slide would have been physically stopped from retracting when the shot was fired. Most likely this scenario would be caused by a hand wrapped around the foreend of the gun.

Some video in case you missed it that shows the crime scene during the day. Gives you an idea of how close potential witnesses had to be. If you didnt see it, you definitely heard it.

Not sure how good the witnesses are actually going to be if the best one claims he only saw one person (on the ground). Heard that person screaming. Turned away to get his dog for a second and then heard a shot. Where was the second person?
