Because other western animation is either blatantly kiddy stuff or comics.

Or you have an art style that isn't very shippable without scarring minds.

for me it's Kuruk :)

See above, neither of those things stop people.
MLP is an outlier. The fanbase itself is an abnormality. If they were anywhere near the norm, I'd be seeing more PPG/Dexter's Lab smut.

About the complainin that this thread is going insane: Yes you are right, but it's not entirely our fault. If we had more to discuss it wouldn't turnout this bad. But we have to wait for so looooong :(

Not even PonyGAF ships on every page. This thread is officially worse.

Yeah, but, ponies.

Whilst all this shipping is mega creepy and annoying, PonyGAF beats everything in worse-ness by a country mile.

I can actually stomach to post in this thread every now and then, as bad as it is right now.

Btw it's fantastic to see that Metalbending has evolved; yet I do hope the Toph-tier type makes a return..

That shit was insane.

^ Yeah, the A:TLA finale really delivered the choreography and bending that have been building up for the past three years. Even with all the bending that we have seen through the show, they still managed to impress us for the finale.

No and there won't be any download links or online versions like last time as far as we know.

At the earliest, episode 3 will air on April 21st , if we're unlucky it will air on the 28th.

I'd still consider a 28th airing lucky. The way I see it, the worst case scenario is that Nickelodeon treats Korra the same way they treat iCarly and Victorious, and we end up waiting a month or two between episodes. We probably won't though, because they actually care about those shows.

They also have the luxury of being able to re-run those shows for large ratings.
They can't do that as much with Korra.

I don't know much about Nick, but it would seem insane to air two episodes and then let it rest for weeks, especially with a kids show on Saturday morning. Let's just hope for the best!

Wait wouldn't covering yourself in metal be a bad idea against firebenders? The metal would get super hot. You'd fry.

Only if somebody blasted you with a constant stream of fire. Plus maybe Toph can even change the properties of the metal she's bending, making it even more heat resistant.

Change the properties? Come on
