Pre-Show Match: Primo & Epico vs. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd vs. The Usos for the WWE Tag-Team Championships

------------

I think the only match in question is the Tag Team match. Everything else is fairly predictable.

So, here are my picks for WM28:

Tag Title Match: Epico and Primo (c) vs. Justin Gabriel + Tyson Kidd vs. The Uso's
The titles mean nothing. I guess Justin Gabriel gets at least some crowd response, so why not have them the titles as props to carry around NXT and Superstars. Should be a very enjoyable match though, good choice for a dark match to get the crowd riled up.

Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos vs. Beth and Eve.
Should by all means be the latter two women. But the celebrity face is not losing clearly.

Kane vs. Randy Orton
Kane at this point in his carreer isn't winning against people still in their prime. Besides it's Orton, he only loses like 2 matches a year.

IC Title Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Big Show
Big Show will win, seeing as the build-up had him constantly look like an idiot, there's no way the pay-off isn't Show winning. Rhodes is okay without the title, it's time to give him that final push. Hopefully Rhodes will come out looking good, although I still expect him to drop the title finally.

Team Teddy-Johnny vs Team Teddy
There can be only one winner here. Johnny Ace is entertainment, he IS mr. Excitement. Teddy Long is just that stereotypical black guy that does a silly dance, wears suits that could fit Mark Henry and spends his time having nasty sex with divas while screwing talent he doesn't like. He's probably the most unfit GM ever. go Team Johnny!

WHC Title Match: Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Sheamus
Sheamus does nothing for me, if he wins this match he'll have a forgettable Swagger-type run and drop the title in 2 months max. Bryan however has been amazing in his role and deserves a run untill Summerslam. I'm kinda hoping AJ will turn full fledged heel and drops Sheamus with a chairshot (DO THE OCTOPUS ON HIM AJ!) or something, but I doubt WWE has the balls to turn her heel. However, the team of AJ and Bryan has been amazing these past few months, while Sheamus has been weak on the mic and just not very interesting. Should be a very entertaining match though, looking forward to this one alot.

WWE Title Match: CM Punk (c) vs Chris Jericho
This fued has been okay so far and I reckon it will last a few months longer at least. Jericho should come out on top, the babyface chasing the heel champion always makes for a more enjoyable fued. I like the intensity Punk has been showing the past few weeks towards Jericho, who is always a great heel. Will no doubt be the best wrestling match on the card.

Hell in a Cell: Triple H vs. The Undertaker w/ special ref. HBK.
I reckon we'll see a similar match like last year, brutal, good use of the cell as a weapon and many near falls at the end. HBK will be calling it down the middle and of course it's clear Trips is not winning. Undertaker will retire after the match or on Raw tomorrow, esp. if the McCool Pregnancy rumors are true.

Once in a lifetime Match: The Rock vs. John Cena
Yeah, there's just no way Rock is coming out on top over Cena, he's leaving for what, 3 movies or something after this, he won't be back untill at least Survivor Series, there's really no reason to push Cena over Rock here.

Guestimates for surprise segments:
-We'll be seeing Lesnar at the event, I reckon he will go into a program with Orton for next years Wrestlemania.
-Same goes for Austin, who's going on to fued with Punk for next year.

Three in a row that think Bryan is retaining. I don't see it happening at all.

The card as a whole is really predictable in terms of results, I think. The tag team match is the only one I'm not sure of. I'm looking forward to the matches more than the results here.

Quickly throwing my picks in, usually i'd elaborate more but i'm lacking time and WWE are lacking a buildup to talk about anyway.

John Cena Beats The Rock, fan reaction will be hopefully amusing.

Undertaker Beats Triple H in a match that goes far too long, and tries far too hard to be "epic", HBK needs to wear his smuggling banana ref shorts for a WM moment.

CM Punk retains against Chris Jericho

Sheamus wins the World title from D Bryne

Team Excitement banishes Team Tag Team Match Playa

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show for the Intercontinental Championship, it could go either way, I guess this event needs more heels to win so i'm going with Rhodes, hoping this match doesn't become the now annual 10 second squash involving Cody getting knock out punched immediately.

Kane vs. Randy Orton.....I want to believe that Kane wins in a match so surprisingly awesome it stuns Wrasslegaf into a shocked state and they all become Kaneanites. Reality is Kane's knee eats an RKO after a sloppy match.

Face and Celeb team probably wins the divas match but i'm sure it will be hard to tell from the toilets.

Should be a pretty good WM on paper, but 26 showed that looking good on paper doesn't always lead to a great event, but it will be better than last year that's for sure.

John Cena vs. The Rock

Hell in a Cell Match: Undertaker vs. Triple H w/ special guest referee Shawn Michaels

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho for the WWE Championship

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship

Team Johnny (Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre, David Otunga, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, and The Miz) vs. Team Teddy (Booker T, The Great Khali, R-Truth, Santino Marella, Kofi Kingston, and Zack Ryder)

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show for the Intercontinental Championship

Kane vs. Randy Orton

Maria Menounos and Kelly Kelly vs. Eve and Beth Phoenix

Pre-Show Match: Primo & Epico vs. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd vs. The Usos for the WWE Tag-Team Championships

Undertaker vs HHH with Michaels as ref? It's like WWE was put in cryo freeze in the ten years I haven't been watching it.

What time does the actual show begin? Is it at 8pm till 12? Or is it 7pm till 11? All I remember is that it's 4 hours but I totally forget what time it starts, not including pre-show.

Just an FYI that a 10-man tag team match has been announced for Monday's RAW featuring WrestleMania opponents.

The intriguing aspect of such a match being announced is that only four Mania matches provide viable opponents with a clear face/heel division.

FACES = CM Punk / Sheamus / Randy Orton / The Big Show / ????????
vs.
HEELS = Chris Jericho / Daniel Bryan / Kane / Cody Rhodes / ????????

I suppose they could simply throw in some Team Johnny & Team Teddy guys.

What a fucking lazy ass idea. Every damn year.

My picks:

John Cena vs. The Rock

It's Cena :( no heel turn, no exiciting match. Just same old shit. Fuck him

Hell in a Cell Match: Undertaker vs. Triple H w/ special guest referee Shawn Michaels

20-0, next

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho for the WWE Championship

Jericho made a career by putting people over

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship

Sheamus, Cena 2.0, boring bland and always wins. It's gonna be a sad moment when Bryan loses his title :(

Team Johnny (Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre, David Otunga, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, and The Miz) vs. Team Teddy (Booker T, The Great Khali, R-Truth, Santino Marella, Kofi Kingston, and Zack Ryder)

Only result I'll be happy about tonight

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show for the Intercontinental Championship

Only difficult match for me to guess. I still go with Big Show because he was humiliated so much.

Kane vs. Randy Orton

LOL!!!
Cena, Sheamus and Orton :(

Maria Menounos and Kelly Kelly vs. Eve and Beth Phoenix

Celebs always win

Did WWE decide they hated their song or something this year? Last year they blasted that awful song nonstop. This year I barely heard their awful song!

John Cena vs. The Rock

Hell in a Cell Match: Undertaker vs. Triple H w/ special guest referee Shawn Michaels

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho for the WWE Championship

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship

Team Johnny (Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre, David Otunga, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, and The Miz) vs. Team Teddy (Booker T, The Great Khali, R-Truth, Santino Marella, Kofi Kingston, and Zack Ryder)

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show for the Intercontinental Championship

Kane vs. Randy Orton

Maria Menounos and Kelly Kelly vs. Eve and Beth Phoenix

Pre-Show Match: Primo & Epico vs. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd vs. The Usos for the WWE Tag-Team Championships

When Sheamus wins, is HHH gonna hit him in the back, chase him down to the ring on all fours and make him beg to take the championship away?

Yeah, it will probably be Otunga and Santino

My friends and I were thinking about having a drinking game for each time we hear that damned Flo Rida song... but I don't think that would end well.

I'm so pumped for today! I really, really hope Bryan retains. I like Sheamus, but I don't want Bryan to lose his momentum.

Used to watch wrestling religiously from 97-04. I lurk on this thread daily to keep up with whats happening and I'm looking forward to watching this live tonight with my crappy seats. I hope this turns out well.

Well, Rock/Cena (Invincible) and HHH/Undertaker (Memory Remains) matches both have their own themes, so the 'main song' (Good Feeling) has naturally been heard less.

Wow, the buyrate is going to be huge tonight. A lot of people are paying who don't regularly watch.

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho for the WWE Championship

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship

So we all can agree that Taker will be Hunter, Shawn and Hunter will leave and then Lesner will come in and F5 the battered yet victorious Taker and stand over him to close the show?

I'd be pretty letdown if the only title change at Mania was the freaking tag titles

IT'd be a very big letdown if Punk and Bryan lose the titles at WM. Maybe Punk not as much, since he already got lots of momentum and could go without the belt, but if Bryan loses the rematch then he might get stuck in midcard hell without a clear direction and lose all heat and momentum he has gained for the past 4 months.

John Cena vs. The Rock

Hell in a Cell Match: Undertaker vs. Triple H w/ special guest referee Shawn Michaels

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho for the WWE Championship

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship

Punk is going to Chicago as a challenger to defeat Jericho for the title. It's the ending of his new DVD. What better way to end it then with him besting his rival Y2J in front of a red hot crowd.

As such Bryan is winning his match and retaining. Sheamus is over with the kids win or lose, while Bryan and AJ have been the attraction of Smackdown for weeks now, there's plenty of room for milking that angle for quite some time.

I don't think WM is as predictable as many believe.

John Cena vs The Rock (Cena comes out to thuganomics, takes out Rock with a chair while the ref is out cold. Heel turn!)

Undertaker vs Triple H (HBK inadvertently screws Hunter out of the win)

CM Punk vs Chris Jericho (Jericho has paid off CM Punk's relatives to interfere, equipped with beer in tow.)

Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan (wins by throwing AJ in front of a brogue kick and gets her killed again)

Team Johnny vs Team Teddy (Miz gets the pin)

Cody Rhodes vs Big Show (because this doesn't make any sense)

Kane vs Randy Orton

Maria Menounos and Kelly Kelly vs Eve and Beth Phoenix

I think Lesnar gets involved in the Rock/Cena match. He's high-profile from his MMA stint and it'll set up a long feud with Cena.

Orton feuds with Lord Tensai.

Wow this will only be the 3rd WrestlMania I've seen live. Frst was WM 22, second was WM 27.

Hopefully this years is better than last years.

Nah, they already set up the Taker x Lesner stuff at a UFC event not that long ago.
They will be all over that.
Plus with him using a reduced schedule it will work perfectly.
If anything there is a minute chance of Batista getting involved in Rock x Cena but not Lesner. Batista and Cena do have some history so it can be worked.
