I love how the list of possible games it could be has to include one Sony first party game and one MS first party game just to keep the peace.
Personally I think it's something that is going to surprise people. And at this point in the generation I just don't see either HALO 4 or the latest GOW doing that.

Agreed. Thankfully the stretched HUD was fixed in Crysis Remastered. Still, I really want Crytek to wait until next gen when they have the tech to release a Crysis game on consoles with an HD resolution and steady framerate. As much as I loved Crysis 2, it definitely could have been more polished from a tech standpoint on PS3. Setting the PS3 output to 720p helped a bit though. My hope for Crysis 3 is that it's a mix of the openness of Crysis 1 and the mood, atmosphere, and exploration sections in 2. A bit more closed off than 1 would probably be fine but more open than 2.

The way EA keeps publishing Crytek's games, I wouldn't be surprised if they just outright bought them. I'm gonna guess it's a Medal of Honor/Battlefield game.

They did do Star Trek Online as a cover a few years back.
But honestly, if they did Halo 4, I'd be kinda disappointed. Most of their covers recently have been out of left field in one way or another. Even ACIII, and we knew that was coming.

I fear for movement and framerate each time I hear a line like that. Not excited at all as of now.

OXM UK is always late with info, for example they where late with the ACIII and Halo 4 making of reveal (which we knew a week or two earlier). So, good chance that we might get something before.
