Man that car didn't do a thing.

I may get shit for this but I always hated this shot. It looks so cheap I don't get it. It looks like the crane stuff is obviously put there for dramatic effect rather than how it actually landed after an explosion. Then him standing on top of the rubble looking down. It just looks so silly. All I could think of is at one point Batman walked up that little hill for no reason other than to look down and mope. I love the movie but this shot always irritates me.

What the hell are you talking about? That's a great shot.

And he's looking down at...

Come on, guys. Did you really not think it could be fake?

Though... WB wants to make money. Movie execs think 3D equals money.

Guys, post-conversion of TDKR is an inevitability. NOOOOOOOOOO

I'm rewatching TDK... damn, Eckhart does a hell of a job. What a great performance.

Yeah, in all the hubbub around Ledger's performance, few seemed to recognize that Eckhart did a pretty good job with an equally demanding role. He had to be sympathetic, angry, and tragic... and managed to accomplish that without chewing scenery.

Well, the Joker by definition is a scenery chewer.

I agree, sorry I shouldn't have try to make it sound like I was comparing the two in that sense. I just think the Two-Face role could have easy given way to some ridiculous overacting, but Eckhart stayed pretty understated, which is impressive.
