So far I've got:
Game Dev Story (Don't care for it)
Dungeon Raid (Pretty Fun)
Mage Gauntlet (Great)
Tetris (Fun, but I have no idea why I bought it)
Infinity Blade (Not what I expected it to be, pretty "meh," but it was on sale)
Angry Birds Space (It's okay)
Draw Something (It's okay)
SimCity DLC (Not bad)
Starbase Orion (Not bad, haven't played it much yet)

Are there any "must have" games I'm missing? (Love RPGs if that helps)

Have a look at "squids"

Its a game I really enjoyed that has some light rpg elements (levelling up and exp) but a really unique interface and control scheme that is perfect for touch screens

It's more of a turn based action battle system

Definitely one of my favorite iPhone games.

+ Chaos Rings Omega and Chaos Rings II. Also Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions.
Fuck no. Chrono Trigger is a piss poor port that only runs at half the framerate that it runs at on SNES, PS1 and DS. Also, the shitty fonts stick out like a sore thumb. I paid $10 for it, realized it ran like shit and swiftly deleted it from my oPhone and gave it a bad review.

Get the DS version and play it on your 3DS. It's vastly superior.

Chrono Trigger could seriously use an update, at least to remove the vaseline filter. FFT got some updates with bug fixing + one that made the game look much better so there's hope.

I have a 20 dollar CANADIAN itunes card that I can't use.

Any chance a Canadian wants to gift me 20 bucks for the code? :D

I wrote Apple already, hoping that they can change it.

Old school turn based multiplatform CRPG Avernum: Escape from the Pit is out for iPad.

Kinda debating if I should get this or wait for the PC version (it should come soon, was supposed to be simultaneous after Mac).

Does anyone have it, is it super smooth and the interface intuitive or will it stagger, load slow, and I'll miss right clicks/hotkeys etc?

Edit: on iPad2 so no high res either for me, I hope inventories, dialogues, etc, aren't annoyingly small and easy to mistap.

I liked Avadon on PC but this would be my first real Spiderweb RPG (Avadon being their Icewind Dale of sorts, simplified in depth).

Although the asset reuse will annoy me I can get past that if the game is as good as I hope. Did Technomancer make an OT or?
I picked this up. I've been wanting to try a Spiderweb Software RPG forever, ditto a real RPG on a tablet. I spent my 15 free minutes with it today, and so far so good. The target boxes on the ground are tiny, though.

Gunman Clive delivers: I'm impressed how tight and fluid the platforming is considering its use of an on-screen control pad.

The sketchbook art style and music create a unique Old West theme, and it doesn't miss a frame at 60 Hz on my iPad 2 even at the highest graphics settings.

Yep, this game is fantastic - my only complaint is that it was over too soon. I hope it sells enough to justify updates with time trial modes or new levels, etc.

If anyone's picking up Operation Eradicate on sale (or already has it), come join us in the iOS board-game thread. Just played my first couple games -- pretty fun once you get used to the interface.

Me?

Shit, I've been taking the wrong approach. Instead of harrassing Mario for Gripshift on iOS (for years!), I should have been asking for a sequel...

Great news. Do you know if GripShift will make it to PSN so it'll work on Vita?

We are currently developing a Vita retail title, though no plans to bring GripShift to Vita at this point. We'll do an evaluation once the current title is out of the way.

Just about to start PMing Monster Flip codes now (makes me wait a minute between each PM).

Any plans for Gamecentre achievements?

how you doin?

Any plans for Gamecentre achievements?

The Launching Pad Games guys are close to wrapping an update which adds achievements, more puzzles, and some other content. Will likely submit mid next week, so a couple of weeks away from today before it hits the Store.

All promo codes sent out.

Overpriced Monster Flip merch starting to go live here (not appearing properly in the subcategory yet). More graphic variants of the cases (and more cases in general) going live tomorrow.

And the title music track available for free streaming here. Will turn up on iTunes eventually.

How's the game in general? $20 is steep to take a flier on, but I would probably buy it if there were positive impressions here.

Been working my way through the first campaign. Game is really good. There are a good number of units that all have very integral roles. A lot of the tactics so far have been built around suppressing units just so I can edge in and pick off a few units before the Germans storm with tanks. Haven't tried online, yet.

I dont kniw if i should feel cheated by the fact that Avernum looks to have the exact same interface as Avadon like literally the same?

Did you feel cheated with Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate 2 (and most of the rest IE games really, the differences were minor)?

Controls are just too precise to take it to touch. We have long term plans for Shatter to come across, and I'm currently looking at GripShift for PC/Mac though.

How about Gripshift on Vita? Seems like the perfect platform for it. I agree it wouldn't really work on touch-only devices. :(

EDIT: Nevermind! You answered already. Sorry ;p
