You ever cut off your fingers writing a paper before? Shit happened in the sculpture yard a year ago, guy was using a handheld saw and accidentally went over his hand. His fingers were just hanging by a few pieces of skin. He got them reattached and most of them are working again. Shits serious. There's also the horrors of kids who don't know how to use table saws making frames. Or just cutting mats for frames. Shit, I cut off a good chunk of skin once because I had an fresh sharp blade and my finger was a little over the edge of my ruler.
Also all the oil based shit. I've washed my hands in paint thinner more than I would like to admit, but it's the only way sometimes.
