I've known people with this particular set of genes to have senses of humour and the ability to be philosophical about it, but some who just plain don't. It is a damned cute photo of a very pretty DS child, with an amusing caption if taken in a particular spirit. I think it could very easily be hurtful if we have gaf users who are part of the DS population, but very possibly not. I'm neither condemning or condoning. I'm just not sure your rationale is sound.

Just trying to point out that not all folks with DS are helpless and without the ability to stand up for themselves. At least from my experience with a select few, it may be they were extremely competent in comparison. Anyway, this is a funny pictures thread, so let's funny!

The funniest thing about this comic is I emailed Tim Buckley and told him to grow up after he spent like 2 months ripping on the "Wii" name.
He emailed me back a long hate filled rant and called me a Nintendo fanboy.
I think I still have the screen somewhere...

Why, because they're not offensive enough to you to be one of those select groups here who are given exception when it comes to hurtful comments and pictures? Transsexuals, disabled, women, gays, minorities, uglies, it shouldn't matter. It's all the same; people being made fun for being different.
