I honestly feel the Pens just got the worst possible first round draw they could have. The Flyers match up really well against them. If it were possible, I would've preferred the Rangers or Bruins. Not scared of either of them. I'm scared of the Flyers.
This is going to be back-to-back years of first round exits. While last year can be excused, this one just can't. This team is too talented to go out like this.
This isn't 1993 David Volek and the Islanders, or even the Florida Panthers rats bad, but it hurts.

That would be the right call but they won't because of Luongo's 35 saves on Wednesday.
In both games theres been too much Vancouver sucking.
They may want to try stopping that.

I want last season's PP back, that was THE reason we even made it to the SCF... now it's abysmal, no idea what we're gonna do. Just... I don't know.

Screw that, we were up there with both of you toward the end of the season with how bad our PP and PK was. Luckily it has looked much better in this series, well the PK has, the PP still needs work but it somewhat better.
Tell you what's going to happen; you're going to get eliminated in the first round. Pens had a non-existent PP against Tampa in the first round last year, and it cost them the series. A couple of PP goals and they would've gone on to the second round.
No PP = no playoff success.

Boston did alright with a shit pp last year (according to my shitty memory) and then exploded in the Final while we did the opposite...maybe that's the plan this year.

It's more about parity now, I don't think anyone would be surprised if the Kings and Flyers win their series, it's just not what most would've seen coming.
Watching the Darryl-Lombardi era Kings makes me long for early 00s Sharks. Darryl definitely is the best coaching personality the Sharks have had in their history (barring assistant coaches from the discussion).

Exactly. I don't think Philly winning their series would be a shock at all. I don't think any team beating any other team would be a surprise either right now. Parity has worked, and has ensured that teams are all incredibly close in their ability and chances for victory during the post-season.

Dude, you're not supposed to have a thick ass caveman beard until the finals. That's the whole point of the playoff beard. You're doing it wrong if you have one on Day 3.
