I mentioned it to someone and they said it would interfere with the rear touchpad.
My absolute favorite PSP case let me charge the system while it was inside, but the Hori one I use for my Vita is too deep to do that. Ugh... Looks like I'm going to buy this one, too. I keep buying cases for my handhelds wtf.

Facebook app has been updated. You can download it through its live area.
It's a pretty good update one of the new features is you can now upload pics from your vita to Facebook.

I currently having a love hate relationship with Treasures of Montezuma Blitz. Normally I do not put much time into these types of games. But the limited plays and leveling appeals to my love of grinding. The problem is the game gives so little and a getting a good run is nothing more than dumb luck.
A word of warning for anyone who downloads it. Do not spend your gems frivolously. They take forever to replenish. You do, however, have a daily scratch card to possibly win some and replenish. But, it's not enough.

I found that I get a lot more points if I just hit the hint button over and over, I just got over 200k doing that. I have the lightning gem and the cheapest totem.

My official Sony case from the first edition bundle smelled like rotting fish for like a day then it went away, it might just be the material or something.

I made the mistake of buying all the lower powers and burning through my gems. I like to use the one that destroys gems of the same color. Problem is it costs 150 per play and if I get an average of 15 back per play. The whole thing reminds me of a slot machine, its completely designed around trying to get the player to put in more money. But I can't see myself spending actual cash to buy gems or plays.

Yeah I burned through mine pretty quickly because I didn't know what they did lol the game just doesn't explain anything very well. I got lucky and got 15k gems with that scratch card game but see if you can find any near players around you that post the gems I've gotten a few hundred that way too.
The Hori hard case I bought from Walmart smells the same (red striping, opens vertically). And they sell other Hori accessories, so the smell is legit - lol. I just got used to it tbh.

I'm getting that damn router auto-connect error again where I have to force the connection in settings. Maybe it is the update, it worked perfectly with the first update, so it appears they broke it again.

Turn your vita vertical and it's pretty good. Physics feel off from the ps3 version though. But they aren't bad.... just different.
If you like pinball you'll like that game. It's designed for purists.

I had high hopes for verticle mode, but forcing tilt to the back touch when the d-pad is just sitting there doing nothing really sucks. I end up constantly tilting when I don't mean to, and when I do it doesn't seem to work right. The front-touch flippers work ok though.
The game would really benefit overall from more control options.

Meh, I'm not really interested in any of those 3 games. Is anybody giving away gift certificates with a Vita purchase, or anything like that? I remember Target frequently gave away $25 gift cards with the 3DS before the price drop.

Got a PS Vita, well more like received it as a lovely gift along with Uncharted, Everybody's Golf and Escape Plan.
So, I've been playing some demos from the Japanese store and 2 games stood out that were pretty fun but weren't received well on various review sites. They don't have an official thread here (or maybe I didn't search hard enough) and was wondering wether they're good games among fans. Finding them fun and thinking wether to get them, it would be a shame to get them and they end up being bad games.
What do you think of Sumioni and Shinobido 2? Are they worth getting?

If you're usually carrying the Vita with you and want to upload highscores etc., then the 3G is nice to have. But if you mostly play it at home, then the 3G really isnt needed. I bought the 3G model at launch and i've used the 3G function maybe 4-5 times, mostly just to test it out. I dont regret buying it though, but i could manage fine with the WiFi-only model.

I agree, completely. My review of it enraged a few people (which, to be fair, I don't think they read my review explanation that says that 2 stars is for genre fans only... it doesn't mean it's shit). But I feel like it's a good pinball game saddled by many issues and as such really is just a 'hardcore pinball fan' game.
I know personally i've gotten used to all the bells and whistles of Zen Studios games... like a slick interface - good cameras - the ability to reconfigure buttons - etc. This game is awesome, in spurts... like when you have a good game going on Theatre of Magic. But issues tend to creep in and lessen the enjoyment... like the camera when you are holding the Vita normally... or the back touch and just general awkwardness of holding it vertical.
It also doesn't help that we have so many other versions to compare it to. Even the ipad version is more playable as it has more screen real estate. And the physics in the PS3 version feel a bit more complex (and predictable) than the vita version.
I actually like the game quite a bit, and it plays a decent game of pinball... but that's all it does. The lack of options, the camera, the ui/presentation... basically every other aspect of the game is so lacking that the overall product is difficult to get into. But if you love pinball you can ignore all that crap and just get into the game and have some fun.

I preordered GR last February. Will this bonus be automatically included with my order? Because I placed amazon credits on this thing, I'm afraid I'll lose them if I cancel the preorder.

Be aware that the online mode is broken (for
me and other people). You'll be able to play just fine, but for whatever reason all the progress you have done will be reset to 0.
It applies to all existing orders so don't worry about it.

Awesome! Thanks for informing us. I was planning to pre-order it but I was waiting until which store offered a pre-order bonus. Since it seems like all of them are offering the same thing, I'll go with amazon like I usually do.
