Whatever it is, it looks incredibly stupid. What the hell is that on Sarge's back!?
I hope there's some kind of double XP deal with my dew, doritos, and/or doritos tacos so I can fuel up and level up at the same time!
I might buy it someday but I absolutely have no hype for this game due to the MP impressions.

The Halo games on 360 combined have sold 21 million copies while Black Ops alone has sold 25 million. Why would Activision blink again? Are they trying to get Activision to blink and move the date. COD has always been released at around that time, I think WaW was the latest.
This seems like a bad idea, September releases were usually good for Halo, got it out ahead of Call of Duty along with all the other AAA October/November releases. Wonder if the game wasn't going to be ready in time or not. Regardless of how you feel about Halo OR Call of Duty this doesn't make sense for Microsoft. The reality is that Call of Duty will outsell anything else regardless of it's quality, and given that Call of Duty is biggest on 360 it just seems like Microsoft is cannibalizing their own income. It's not like Halo will fail or anything if they come out at the same or around the same time, but it's hard to argue that it won't hurt sales at least a bit.
Fuck 343i.
They sold more than that. The Halo games on 360 combined have sold 21 million
Only 2, and the second was in the process of construction, so there are 6 still out there.
Hypertrooper pointed out that he's wearing it in the other video, too. You can see it through the sniper scope. Definitely looks like a Jetpack in that shot.Whatever it is, it looks incredibly stupid.

Sorry?Dont let the door hit you on the way out.
"First mainline Halo in years? Forget that, I need to pick up another bi-monthly release of the same turgid brown shooter with a vapid plot-less campaign and a multiplayer which acts as a time waster for teens in juvenile delinquency centers instead."
Really now, at the very worst I'd imagine the average shooter fan will buy both. If it's a matter of one or the other, most aren't going to pass up the chance to continue the Chief's story.

25 million on the 360?
Sorry?
Sorry?
Exactly, PC, 360 and ps3. And the fact that their main audience is the 360 one since MS keep giving them tons of $ for DLC exclusivity, id say they'll blink.
What the hell are you on about?Well, you're clearly not gonna buy it, right? So bye.
Because this:
If it comes out the same day or within a week or two of CoD I know several people that will outright not buy it, at least not day one. I can't remember if they ever put out numbers for it, but a SHOCKING amount of Halo 3 players never completed the Campaign. I agree that it having Master Chief along will probably propel it to greater success than Reach, but you'd also probably be surprised at the amount of people who don't give a fuck.

That's why I don't get this from the Microsoft side. They're giving Activision probably a fuckton of money for that Call of Duty exclusive, it's by a decent margin most popular on 360, so why would they directly compete with themselves by putting this out at the same time. Even if Activision blinks, why would they choose to go down that road with them when it's hugely beneficial for both parties?
I think you mistake who the picture was to. It was in reply to MMarsu, not him saying that to 343...
I may be drunk here, but this seems like a good business plan.
/SELL GAEMS
/THIS GAEM IS GRAET
/WAYT. WUT COD IS CUMMING OUT. FUCKKKKKKKK IT.
/Halo prophetzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz x10000000000000
They wouldn't, which is why I think this whole thing is insane.
That post is so skewed I don't even know where to start. The numbers for CoD were PC, PS3 and 360 and the numbers for Halo titles on 360 was wrong.
Either which way, my point was that CoD popularity is declining and it has been fortunate up till now not to be pitted against a mainline Halo game. Now that it is, players will have to make a choice and I'd imagine they'd rather go with the Chief who has been out of commission for long enough to make it fresh and so that they can continue with the series without missing anything plot related.

I dont think hes said one positive thing about the game yet...
I don't see what my picture has anything to do with that.I dont think hes said one positive thing about the game yet...

Hard to discuss Halo when there is no more Halo.
Judging by NPD numbers I'd bet a good sum of money 360 CoD numbers alone dwarf any of the Halo titles.Exactly, PC, 360 and ps3. And the fact that their main audience is the 360 one since MS keep giving them tons of $ for DLC exclusivity, id say they'll blink.
COD franchise is slowing down,it's best time for other publishers and shooters games to attack and dethrone it.
Multiplatform franchise sells more then exclusive. News at eleven.Judging by NPD numbers I'd bet a good sum of money 360 CoD numbers alone dwarf any of the Halo titles.

That was more of an inside joke than anything. Not picture, words.

Dwarfing is an hyperbole, selling something in the ballpark of COD is not something to look down at. Tons of publishers would gladly be in that position.
