This is NOT needed.
Heh. When I saw it I thought, "... Wait wasn't there a line about "out of hand" stuff?"
And then I refreshed and you'd posted.
This is NOT needed.
So whatever is in the ep is fair game then (except pictures and shit)
Are we really going to restrict what people can discuss?
We can discuss Korra x Mako, because the writers are obviously setting up that pairing right now.
It's been the ruin of many a Pokemon and Metroid threads, actually.

O RLY?Fair enough.
So there's been some debate in the Linorra fandom about who should be on top; most scenarios seem to involve Korra taking the initiative which just seems completely out of character to me. She's been very skittish about romance and bodily contact thus far, probably a product of her isolated upbringing.
Yea this ep was full of it LOL
I could see shipping stuff in Pokemon (as fucking disturbing as that is)
but WAT? @ the bold.
It's fine to discuss what happens with them in the episode but going too far with it is stupid and that's always the problem with the shipping fandom. There's 3 episodes of content and maybe 3-4 minutes total of anything related to character pairings, anything beyond a mention of "Hey, they had a nice moment and making googly eyes at each other" is pretty out there.

I bet you by the end of the season/series they'll mopping the floor with them. Kind of like what happened with the Sentinels in X-men.
I predicted this awhile back.
Air bending style is probably gonna be the key to dodging their blows.
I really want to see Bolin and Mako in a fight where they actually show some good offense.
I had a crazy thought. What if Amon is Ty Lee's son/ relative making the fire bender an escaped, vengeful Azula.
Azula could also be the one who kills Mako's parents too.
YOU keep presuming the TTT boss and Bolin weren't engaged in any illegal activity. There is no evidence for or against that. I keep saying that it doesn't matter whether or not they were engaged in illegal activity at that moment.
Poor analogy. You're comparing on the individual level while this is an organization level. A proper analogy would be if the assaulter was recently robbed by the TTT then strolled up to the TTT headquarters and shot the first henchman of the TTT that he saw, say Bolin, who's only been there 5 mins and hadn't done anything 'criminal' yet. Well then them's the breaks for Bolin as he's representing the organization at that moment. Now I don't actually agree that Amon should be taking matters into his own hands and be going around delivering vigilante justice. However Bolin as a member of TTT security group, even if only for 5 mins, is a target. A random person on the street who looks like a bender isn't a target

I don't think I've ever seen you in a Pokemon thread...
You don't wanna know...

I don't post in them, no.
For good reason.
>_>
why have I never heard of Metroid shipping until this day
the most you might see is with her and Master Chief from Halo tbh but thats 2 different series merging.
Inb4 Master Chief/Cortana
so anyways Korra episode 4 predictions
objective will fail miserably
it will start to haunt her
Where's the episode 4 preview? I didn't get one after the episode on Nick's site.

Probably not episode 4, but inevitably Korra will have her bending sealed, and learning the spirtual side of the Avatar will be pivotal in unlocking it.
Tenzin needs to bail Korra out.-objective will fail miserably

Just finished watching A:TLA again
The main thing that happens when Aang takes away bending is the battle of the spirits between the two people, which we never see with Amon. This was a lot quicker.
So, its either advanced Chi blocking or Amon is a Spirit himself.
Or...RETCON of some sort

Also...where the fuck IS Zuko's mother...

Cue preview for episode 5 and a few very long weeks of ship debate and whether Bolin is a criminal mastermind or just not the sharpest tool in the shed

Yeah, I got the impression that it was a dangerous process, and figured that it always involved the glowy bits from the end of the battle.
Idiot savant with his one area of genius being his ability to get himself into trouble.
I never really liked the original, but I watched a bit of this today and I must say, I like it quite a bit.
Korra's VA is really good and, I know they're not the same, but does anyone else notice how much she sounds like Kid Icarus Uprising's Pit? She's got the same tone, too, but anyway I think that's one of the reasons I like it more than the original because I found Aang to be a bit of an annoying character. Korra, on the other hand, is pretty kick-ass.
Also...where the fuck IS Zuko's mother...
I noticed that as well.
It's obvious that he knows something. He stuttered ever so slightly when he said "That's not possible".
Right. And for Bolin and Mako, it'll just take more experience fighting them.
I had a thought... I wonder if fire benders are the city's electrical power source. Lightning!

It always saddens me a bit when I hear people say stuff like this.
Good thing it doesn't happen often!
