Indeed. Many years ago I was playing Frisbee with my Brother-in-Law. His 2 yr old son was sitting on deck stairs, three stairs up and in total. My wife was filming with a VHS camcorder (see..MANY years ago) due to our unbelievable Frisbee skills. Well a toss got away from me and made a direct line to said child's forehead. Hit him with enough force to make him tilt backwards - lose balance and tip forward, down the stairs somersault and into the side hand railing with his back, depositing him on the lawn. Of course everyone rushed to make sure he was alright - and he was except for a slight mark on head and many tears. Brother-in-Law and I were in fits of laughter.
His now ex-wife made us record over the footage. Could've won Funniest Videos I'm sure. While the now late 20-something child doesn't remember it....he knows the story and it is always a rip-roaring time whenever it is brought up.
And yes, I have a son in college now. And yes, most of these incidents people show are funny. As long as no one is seriously injured. Feeds the ol' "slapstick" craving.
