Is GTA3 worth getting for the iPad? How are the controls?
Bumping this in hopes of someone being able to help.
It comes up for me on the new iPad. Why do you ask?
It's not showing up for me at all, lol. I've tried on my phone and an iPad. I don't get it.
Try buying it from the link and go to the purchase history on your device?
Try Tribez. The 'building' aspect of it is kind of on-rails, but it should hit all those other sweet spots she might like.
my wife plays and keeps going back to games like Virtual Families and Virtual Villagers. I asked her why she keeps going back to these games and her answer is: Because as much as you see me play, i havent "finished" the games. there seems to be tons to do.
As before mentioned, Trade Nations or Tribez. Also might try out Aero Vacation or Sunshine Cruise Lines.
Not an expert at all on the genre, but Snoopy's Street Fair seems to be right down this alley. Seems to be well put together too. Tried it out as a sponsor app on FreeMyApps.
That's what I did. I'm just confused as to why it won't show up no matter how I search for it. Never happened before.

Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer dropped to 99cents (US, 79cents euro)

I wish I'd purchased this months ago. What an addictive game. Have been looking for another asynchronous title to play with the BF (we've played Carcassonne into the ground and Hero Academy was very disappointing (not that I really expected much)). It's going to take me awhile to wrap my head around this, as I've never played a deck building or TCG. Seemingly a steal at a buck.
Thanks for the replies. I sent them on to her and we'll see how it goes hopefully tonight when she can try them.
Still looking for a loot-heavy game, any more input? So far we've only really gotten... Dungeon Hunter 2 lol.

iOS boardgaming thread with a spreadsheet full of people to play with!![]()
Thanks! Quick Q that I actually forgot in my initial post: as (a) novice player(s), should we go ahead and get the expansion, or wait until we're more experienced?

What's your name in Trade Nations? When I get back on one of my freemium binges, I'll add you. Totally agree about Street Fair - one of the reasons I stopped playing.
iOSGAF I need your help. I'm trying to find some specific types of games for my gf to play. She wants a mixture of things that are like certain games but not (lol):
Farmville - likes this general concept, but not the part where you HAVE to keep things maintained or you lose it. Things happen while you're gone, yet are still waiting for you regardless of how long you've been gone.
Sim City - Any type of Sim game where you act as a "god" in the sense that you can manipulate anything (see also: Pocket God game). Like Farmville, you build things up from scratch, and they can go on without you being there constantly.
Gardens of Time - Likes the hide and seek aspect, as well as how you can have buildings start and be finished when you get back after a few hours. Not enough "sim" in this game though.
Hope that can give you an idea of the type of game. I tried to get her to play Tiny Tower, but she didn't seem into that. iPhone or iPad, doesn't matter.
any chance of a lovely desktop wallpaper?!
Don't worry guys, Infinity Blade Dungeons will eventually save us.
Fuck you Chair for making ClashMobs an useless POS
I've found the ClashMobs to really come in to something this week. I picked up like six awards just this morning/last night and they have a much larger number running at one time than before. And they are almost always successful these days, too. Might be worthwhile to try them again.
Also, anybody wanting to enlarge their ClashMob crew please add me:

Sadly right now that's the best of the bunch. Much like Roguelikes, there was a fair few in the genre then they all died off.
One I did neglect to mention was The Bards Tale, that's not a bad one.
I respect the crap out of your game, but for some reason, I don't really enjoy playing it. Is there a chance I'm playing it wrong? I really want to like it.There's actually a super-duper rad (imo) one here:

is Chrono Trigger any good for the iphone? i've read that the controls are horrible? i was thinking of grabbing some of the final fantasy games as well, hoping those don't suck as well....

1.) Is that "Fling" thumb pad attachment any good? Will it hurt the screen?
2.) Is there a comfortable way of holding the iPad? I don't know if it's exclusive to the iPad 3, but it's weighty in a way that makes holding it kinda uncomfortable.
fyi
That (gasp) Gameloft (gasp) game that people been shilling on here (jk)

Someone picked the first one already, thanks for the codes though!![]()
no thanks or courtesy from the persom either. oh well. ill be posting codes i get from freeappdaily and freemyapps so be on the lookout.
That's why I posted, I tried the first code but it was already redeemed... So I posted to let everyone know that it's not worth trying, since someone took it already.
I will try your code for you, Heel.
My code from FreeAppDaily is saying "This code is only valid for customers of the Store" when it attempts to redeem it.
Anyone had this problem?
