With all the bridges out, time to see if they ever got the Tumbler Bridger working! Can see another bridge going down in the distance as well.

Really loving that this seems to be more Bruce-centric. I really hope JGL's character isn't focused on too much. Dent stealing Bruce's screentime in the last movie. >:(

Besides tax breaks, I think they wanted to shoot in different cities this time around to capture the scope and scale of Gotham. In The Dark Knight and Batman Begins, they rely pretty heavily on Lower Wacker, LaSalle and a couple of other streets. They even used that same parking garage for the Tumbler chase in Begins, and the copycat drug bust in The Dark Knight. Here, they're going for a bit of variation.

I'm with you, though. I'll miss the Chicago feel.

I think JGL is mainly there to have somebody doing something "action"-related in the second act after Bruce gets taken out.

But seriously, I want that training montage, Nolan. Nobody is going to believe Bruce is in Bat-shape after eight years of boardroom couch-surfing and polo.
 
HOLY SHIT! Latest update of the gif has Bats fighting Bane in that prison or whatever it is. Also Batman standing above the city with his cape flapping in the wind.

For those of you that read The Dark Kight Returns, I wouldn't be shocked if Bruce decides he needs to fuck Bane up in broad daylight much like he embarrassed the mutant leader in front of his whole gang (i.e., broad day light in front of that courthouse).
 
Nobody mention The Dark Knight Returns. It is overrated garbage. I couldn't believe it was held in such high esteem after I read it.

The Long Halloween is probably the best bat graphic novel, imo.
