What upper and lower receiver are those? They look awesome, I love billet lowers.
The AR is made by a company in Canada called North Eastern Arms.

Struck out at the gun show. No one had any high quality new 1911's or used for that matter. Guess I'm going to have to go on a waiting list for the Springfield.

Just recently started the process of getting my first gun here in NJ and its such a hassle.
First I had to call up my local pd to set up the finger prints. Officer in charge was on vacation for a week.
1 week later I call back and he gives me a date for the following week.
The following week I go in turn in my application for a firearms licesnce and handgun permit. Fill out another form and now am given a sheet to go online and set up my fingerprint date. I go home pay the $52 and get to choose a date at another location, the closest one is 5 miles, not a big deal I have a car but still. Anyway the soonest available date is another week later and its in the afternoon, I work overnights so it's during my sleep schedule.
Fast forward to yesterday I get home from work and go right to bed. Wake up with a half our before the appointment and head onto the highway. At this point I realize its the start of rush hour so I get nervous, but I make it there with a minute to spare. Walk in and realize in my sleep deprived state I forgot my form I was supposed to bring. Guy is cool says as long as I can make it within the next two hours in solid. Take the local way back home only to run into construction at almost every turn. Get to my place grab the form, still the early stages of rush hour so only 30min of traffic, so I got the prints done finally.
Get home and a text from one of my references telling me they have to fill out a form about me and get it notarized. Which makes me feel like an ass cause i didn't know i was going to be putting them through legwork.
And now i get to wait to get my license a wait i have heard is between 1 and 6 months. WTF NJ

Wow that sucks. Here in Iowa I just had to fill out a form and pay $10 at the Sheriffs office. I had got my permit to purchase in the mail about 3 days later.
I'll keep an eye on that site. Unfortunately they todont have the exact one I want for auction ATM.Have you tried Gunbroker? http://www.gunbroker.com/All/BI.aspx?Keywords=springfield+TRP seems to have a few results, not sure if any will be good prices though.
Whelp, today I dropped a lot of money.
Ordered a Tavor TAR 21, a Kriss SuperV 5.5", a Famae SAF, and a Sig P226.
The wife is going to fucking kill me. Good thing I bought a new safe to put everything in lol.
I'll post pics as the stuff comes in.
Hard to beat any Kimber 1911.
If you don't mind me asking, how and where did you get the Tavor? How much would a civilian version normally go for? I love the Tavor but can't find much info on a civillian version other than that Barrett was making them for a while.
I want to get a Gun.
And a Laser.
But I don't like the Red Lasers that I've seen in magazines.
Is it possible to get another color light?
In order of cheapness: Red, Green, otherYeah, I know about the green also. I'm wondering if anyone sells more options as far as light colors go.
What about Yellow or White?

Just paid for a New Frontier Polymer upper today so I'll be picking it up in 10 days. It's very lightweight, in fact all the weight in the buffer tube and stock. As for upper receivers I haven't decided yet. Might go for a .22LR upper for now and save up money for a gas piston upper later on.
Looks like this:

.22 AR uppers cost as much as .223/5.56 uppers. You'll be saving a ton on ammo though. I was thinking about a .22 upper. It was $400 shipped. Said f it and bought a 10/22 instead.
I picked up a Ruger SR22 Pistol yesterday. I was tired of spending so much money on 40S&W for my Glock.

Only had time to shoot about 130 rounds, but it shoots awesome. Had no problems. Picked up for $316 at a local gun store.
I'm gonna buy a Ruger 10-22 take down its gonna be my first gun! I did watch hicock45 video and it got me all excited.
I live in California so no BX-25 clip for me![]()
Ordered my Magnum Research Baby Eagle 2 40S&W today from Buds Gun Shop. Can't wait to get it.
Tavor showed up today.
Initial impressions:
Much heavier than it looks. I am not used to bullpup designs, so it is going to take some getting used to. Rifle is extremely well made and looks bad-ass. I should have a range report sometime next week.

Oh wow.
I assumed it would have to use E-Mags.
I knew it would use STANAG mags, but PMags were notorious for only feeding into US AR platforms. In G36, HK416 & L85's you needed EMags.
Not saying you should buy it from here http://www.calegalmags.com/ but as long as you only use it as parts to repair a current legal 10 round mag or only use it out of state you are fine.

I got a Ruger 10/22 recently too the only reason I didn't get the takedown model was because I probably couldn't buy those aftermarket stocks for it.
Picked up 200 rounds of PPU m193 5.56 for 60 bucks at the Fun Show today, not to bad.
Yeah, I paid about a dollar less per box than I do in my local store and it was one of those sealed 200 round battle packs which is nice. I wanted to get some .308 (for whenever I get a M1 or M14), but I spent my budgeted amount. My goal is when I tire of the AR get a trade for a Springfield M1A, luckily the AR (and this was by design) is a high end one, so it can be traded for other high end items).Nice. That's about .10 cents a round cheaper than we get it up here. I'm heading out tomorrow to pick up 1000rnds of .223 and a Polytech M305 (don't have anything in .308 yet).
Why not just find a gun shop in the US that will export to Canada or import from a US seller?I am trying my DAMNDEST to get a nice M1 Garand, but they don't come up often on the exchange forums here and when they do they are overpriced or beat to hell and back.
For the oddest reason, I have 1000 rounds of 5.56 green tip M855, in my apartment.
I think I paid around $300 cash for them.
Nice, sadly my range doesn't let me use green tips, which sucks, but it's indoors (and has a very good ventilation setup), so I understand. Still they let me shoot steel if I want and no requirement to buy their ammo to shoot.
That's not too bad for the price (considering it's not 189 for a 420 Federal can). I just hope more PPU turns up here. It's cheap, real 556, and despite lets see...300 rounds in, not a single hiccup. I still need to spend time sighting it in. It tends to go towards the right. Truthfully with my eyes, I need to get a cheap scope.
How much do you want to spend on a scope?
I had a Nikon Prostaff 4x scope, whi was like $170.
Right now I run a second hand EoTech with magnifier,
It depends personally no more than $100-150. But I'm not sure when I can actually get it (finances and the like).
I would love one of those EoTech/mag combos, but for that money I could put a sizable amount down on a M1A.
Really? I was looking at CMMG .22LR upper and they start at 350.
Whereas most regular .223 uppers seem to go for above 500 and thats with no frills plain jane ones.
Go on the Calguns forums. There's a guy there that works for CMMG that can get you a good deal.
Let me guess, 13.7 lbs
