How are on the PSP God of War games on the Vita?

The official Sony carrying case. It serves as a media stand and a carrying case, and the Vita can be played with the unit attached. Doesn't smell funny either. Highly recommend it.
Note: The negative reviews are mainly from people who don't realize the difference between a carrying case and a travel case. It's not a travel case.

Well, fuck that. I was able to get the silver medals in the muscle car and buggy events but would need to do flawless runs in order to get the gold. The length of the races in this game is a dual-edged sword; short races are ideal for portable play yet preclude the player's ability to recover from a mistake.
No LBP Karting on Vita for the time being, there goes a surprise announcement at E3 then, shame as it looks perfect for Vita.

They're only just ready to release LBP itself in June. I'd expect there to be a year difference between the two.
So just encountered my first issue with the Vita. I rented Dynasty Warriors Next, and it gave me a warning that I wouldn't be able to get any trophies because I wasn't the first person to open the application? Told me I needed to clear the date first or something. So I cleared the file and tried again, but am having the same issue. Has anyone come across this yet? I'm finding it a little irritating that they won't allow trophies if you didn't buy the game new.
Did you mean data? You have to delete the game's bubble and then it should let you get trophies. All your saved data will be lost though. Happened to me with a used marvel and it worked after I deleted.
Played it, was surprisingly good.
Fuck it. As above, got my hands on it. Brought it back from the UK. Battery's running low on the flight but we were near to landing so no biggie. Get home, unpack my shit and I've left the frikkin charger in the UK. So annoyed. :'(
I lost my FEB travel case a couple of weeks ago.
Bought the official Vita carrying case to replace it. I like the media stand feature but I wish it covers the Vita on both sides. 8^/
I dropped my unprotected Vita on the tarmac. This is before I bought the official case. It's chipped and cracked on both ends now. Fortunately, the thing still runs perfectly. Even if I had the case on, I suspect it would still be scratched on both ends.
Other than that, I like the convenience of the carrying case too.

I just wish there were at least more demos, if not ps1 compatibility.
Maybe it's just me but I feel Sony has not been giving nearly enough attention to vita. Hopefully things will be better come e3. As is, my most played game on vita is half minute hero.

You can find some really good deals on used Vitas on ebay and craigslist. I got mine used off of ebay and I feel like I got a great deal.

Well that sucks, I was looking forward to it, but atleast there is a bunch of other stuff that I want to pick up. Actually this is a good excuse to pick up a psp game. I just have to decide if I want to pick up one of the Cladun games, Dissidia, or Patapon....
I wonder why they bothered to show it for the Vita if they did not plan to release it from the beginning.

is there any general time for PS1 games to work? like a "Summer 2012" or something?
they have not given one, but most of us think that they are saving it for an E3"announcement" especially since a ps1 game went up on the Euro Vita store recently. It got taken down, but it already had a live area, and seemed working other than the fact that it would not actually play.
I really would not be surprised if it's something that Jack says is available "right now" during the conference.

Are there any "blockbuster"-ish/must have games coming out soon? I've had my Vita since launch, and I'm not going to lie, I've really been regretting buying it this past couple of weeks. Rayman Origins was a nice, beautiful game, but it's charm unfortunately didn't keep me hooked playing. I guess platformers like this just don't do much for me anymore. I tried Uncharted at my friends, but again, I don't see as something I see myself playing much. Don't get me wrong, the system is damn sexy, there just isn't much right now that's making me want to play it. :/
Maybe Resistance, but it looks kind of lousy in the footage I've seen. Gravity Rush will be your best bet, but it's a bit over a month away still. In all likelihood, the Vita will not be a destination for 'blockbuster' type games, outside of the rare first party title. I'm cool with that since I tend to prefer games like Hot Shots and Lumines anyways.

Well yeah, that's why there's a separate travel case
Personally, I keep the Vita in the carrying case inside of a messenger bag with other soft items.

Would that affect the touch screen?
The rear touchpad? Probably not, I'm sure it's roughly as thin as a screen protector would be, touch can go through a few layers.
