I recall during XMen 3, one trailer was Snakes on a Plane, another was Ghost Rider, where one guy applauded at the end to which I yelled, "Ain't got Snakes in it"...to which everyone busted out in laughs and applause. I was kind of shocked that it got such a reaction. lol
I remember experiencing it once or twice, but usually only with openings when it's crowded, not just a regular screening.

That's right, very similar, forgot about Battleship, the Dictator, and a cop movie with Jake Gylllenhaal... no Brave, though. Such bizarre pacing. Really should've been Prometheus->Spider-Man->TDKR for massive hypemage.

I like all of them too. I think there's a big gap between the others and the Avengers though. They raised the bar.

Oh cool I actually liked the CA score a lot, granted parts of it struck me as cribbing from the Indy films. Still man gave us the Predator and Delta Force theme.
