On one hand I would like to see England fail and be miserable as always, because it just feels right. But it would also be pretty hilarious if Hodgson did well and see all the English media eat crow.

Indeed, I hope they get knocked out early. The thought of that group of players being immortalized for doing well in any international competition is disturbing.

Makes sense... then again, the Champions League semi finals have shown that FC Barcelona CAN be beat and since they are essentially the spanish national team in terms of players and of style (quick passes, focused on possession and technically superior) the other teams must have picked up a thing or two on how to beat em in the long term so their day in the sun might be over!
I'd say Germany or Spain will win but think there will be a surprise somewhere. Wouldn't put it past Denmark to spring a surprise and WoodenLung to spunk all over GAF's collated servers. We'll all think 'oh no the forums crashed, it's like 2010 again' but really the blame lies with that pervert

Stopped England from qualifying in the 2008 Euro, and won the group.
They have dropped in quality in the past couple of years though.

Interesting how everybody seems to be snubbing Italy. I'll admit I didn't follow them this past year, 'cause I was too busy watching Juventus kicking everybody's ass in Serie A, but I think they could be a pleasant surprise if Prandelli manages to motivate the lads properly.
