I really hope America doesn't get something like this and I end up seeing it by accident.
Annnnd the score just leaked.
now this I'm really anxious to hear impressions on.
Don't get your hopes up. This composer has done nothing to write home about.

Just telling it like it is.
Did you listen to the track posted? It's good.
After Social Network and GWTDT I would have liked to hear a Reznor/Ross stab at this score.
Then honestly I don't think you have something good to stand on from which to comment because there's a sample available in front of you. Needless to say I don't share your pessimism.No. Aside from a once in a moon occurrence, I won't listen to any score before seeing the movie.

He was commenting on the composer's previous work, not passing premature judgement on a score he admitted he hasn't heard yet.
Good man. The only time I can remember doing so is for John Carter.
I did it for Dragon Tattoo, which is the only recent time I can recall it. Otherwise, I want my impression of the music to be colored by the scene it accompanies, not the other way around.
I think you'll be pleased.![]()
I haven't seen the other films, should I watch them first or can I just go into this one without having seen them? I think this one is a prequel. This film was not on my radar but the trailer was pretty good so I decided I might as well.

You don't have to have seen the other films for this one at all. Though you should definitely feel bad about not having seen them.
I figure I'll probably watch them afterwards if I enjoy the film. As for not watching them earlier, what can I say? The other members of my family don't really like movies, and especially not movies about aliens, so I never got to see them when I was a kid.

First track. Very good, although the second track is much better.
Microsoft hires the Chrome team in 2020.WTF, is that real?
IE is already terrible, but "expecations" is just ridiculous.
The cinema is going to grin it's face off at this one.Track 18 is fan service.
It's like EVE Online and Saving Private Ryan had a baby.Damn, this track is absolutely incredible http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzI3AdpA9e4 (#4)
Direct links to song 1,2 and 4 shouldn't be hurting anyone. So I guess I'm the only one with youtube plugin that automatically shows the title of the tracks you're all posting. :/
