a) even though he outlevels you really easily, you can make rare gear to put up on the AH and make a ton of cash

b) Smith upgrades (and other craft NPCs) are applied to your entire account

Someone mentioned during sound down to lowest, I'll try that when servers are back up. The game defaulted me to the second lowest one though, so not expecting any improvement.

Play some torchlight, give yourself some perspective. Play on perma-death settings hardest difficulty. See what somes first, servers being up or you dying.

Taking off vsync if you haven't tried it is a no-go for this game, if you do it still stutters but you then get a bonus, near constant screen tearing.

Just let me throw my complaint in the pot. I just got back home to my collector's edition after working a super-long day. I installed and got all excited and was greeted by some fucking maintenance message. What a shitty, shitty feeling. Excitement all day to simply not be able to log in.

I'd expect it from an MMORPG, but not from a game like this. Oh well...

IGN has been the primary distribution source for all of Blizzard's marketing for this game. How can they possibly review the game and hold onto journalistic integrity? At this point, Blizzard might as well review Diablo 3.
