Excuse me? As far as I know there are uniques in the game below lvl 30. Oh, and if you find me 3 competent HC players I'll glady group up with them. Until then I prefer having my merc instead of doing pub games. Thanks.

:lol Easy partner, I don't even have the game yet. I'd rather stay a good 30 feet away from the shitstorm these past 24 hours. No need to get so defensive.

Sorry guys, already playing with some other guy :(

I just got to Act 3, level 24 now. Leveled my jeweler a few times. Act 2 took us so long because of all the freakin town portal breaks. I dont think its my magic find items because we ALL had to keep porting back frequently. It got so bad I stopped looking at the blue items before salvaging them to see if they were upgrades, I dont even care anymore unless its yellow.

I really wish I had more inventory space.

How do you disable co-op games? A bunch of my battle.net friends just joined my game and I want to play solo.

I lol'd when I read this. I have no idea btw. Sorry.

Method streaming act 1 inferno atm - Method stream

That looks absurd. The trash mob packs are taking longer than bosses to kill, and they are having to teleport all around just to stay alive. Then when they killed all 8 of them, a new pack of four spawned up out of the dirt and ambushed them.

Any Witch Doctors been finding use for spells like Horrify and Firebats? Doesn't seem like they're nearly as useful compared to the earlier spells in those categories like the AOE snare and the zombie dogs unless you're in specific co-op configs. Or are they better with future runes?

maybe i'm slow but whats so cool about the skill? i don't understand it

Use ot near a bunch of enemies and it raises your intelligence which will boost your spell damage. Combine it with say grasp of the dead and you can gib mobs with one spell. Later on add more AoE spells to the stack and everything just melts.

I used Horrify for a little bit. It's a nice panic button, better with Stalker. Either way I prefer Spirit Walk.

Dire Bat is one of my favorite and most used WD spells. I don't think I've played without it since I unlocked the rune. I did not care for the "base" Firebat spell very much, but the vampire variation seems like it could be interesting in the right build. I'm planning on trying it out with a few different combinations once I've unlocked a few more runes.

It looks like a pretty hardcore co-op experience. I love it. More than what D2 had by far.

I run in to groups, cast soul harvest and then go ham with the life stealing flame bats. If anything still alive when I'm nearly out of mana I run back and leave them to my pets whilst I regen my mana. I use Spirit barrage from a distance on bigger enemies.

Got to play last night with some buddies, one of which who NEVER plays online, and it was an absolute blast. Most fun Ive had in quite awhile with any game. Played a little Demon Hunter, Wizard, and Barbarian. Ended up playing more Barbarian than anything last night oddly enough. Only class I didnt touch during the open beta weekend. They should be illegal. Excessive fun.

Also, the CE.... glorious. Once they get the server stuff straightened out, I have a feeling that Im going to be good on games for awhile.

I always have trouble deciding between grasp and dire bats...

Hey guys, I've just killed the skeleton king on my game then had to go to bed and now I'm working.. I was just wondering if the achievement problem is sorted now on the EU servers? I've not unlocked a single achievement yet.. I don't want to get too far in the game only to have to start again!

So as a Wizard should I be using weapons that have a higher DPS or just stick to wands?

My understanding is that a higher DPS also affects casting speed for your primary skill. You shouldn't really ever be using your weapon, as your primary spell uses no Arcane power, so it doesn't really matter what you have equipped (although it makes more sense to equip single handed weapons as then your left hand is free for Orbs).

I've just beaten (ACT ONE MINOR SPOILERS)
the Skeleton King
as a Wizard myself. I've only played a little bit of Diablo II before and about 3/4 of Titan Quest, but Diablo III is really impressing me so far and definitely has that "just one more quest!" addiction I was looking for.

I'm enjoying the Wizard so far, but I do have a bit of a craving to try the Witch Doctor just because his/her skill set is a little more unconventional. Save that for my next playthrough, I guess!

Hm interesting. Haven't unlocked the Direbats rune yet so I'll try it out. I did like the Firebats' cone attack but it didn't seem as useful yet as the Grasp snare - that 80% movement slowdown with the first rune is pretty nice. Then again everything is still really easy so it's hard to tell. :P

I'm nearly level 9 so I'm on the verge of unlocking Soul Harvest, which should be fun.

Spoiler tags are your friend.

I know it's not required, but spoilering stuff like this would probably keep me from sacrificing effigies in your likeness at my chicken-blood covered, voodoo shrine. Well, at least for a little while.

Just sayin.

I love character customisation, that's all. It matters to me what the character looks like even under the armour - and as people have said you can make invisible dye as well.

I already spoiled this for myself by randomly highlighting a spoiler tag yesterday, but please tag this shit for others.

Health orbs.
Oops. My bad.

For more inventory space you coul create another character and use him as a mule. I plan to do this until I max the crafters. Then I will focus on the stash.

Just got my collectors edition through the door :) Hype! will be playing shortly

I've heard people talking about guest passes, do you get them in the box? All i got was WoW passes.

Damn Monk is so much damn fun. Love how I'm able to freaking dps and dodge everything and heal everyone all at the same time. Also this game in general is just fucking godlike. All my friends have it and I've just been hooked on 1 more quest or 1 more drop or 1 more level.

Yeah, I got 3 guest passes for D3, one WoW guest pass, and another slip with CDKeys for Diablo 2 and its expansion.

If I am a wizard and using a 10dps weapon with +2-4 lightning damage, is that +2-4 added to my spell damage as well? (not necessarily as lightning damage, but at least just general damage for my spell to base it's damage off of)

Fuck, seems that alot of UKers got screwed out of diablo 3 guest passes in the collectors edition. Some people are getting 1, 2 or 3 and some like me get none. :(

Just beat Act II, 13 hours 19 minutes playtime so far, Level 26.

*Mild spoiler, please don't highlight if you havent finished Act 2*

How did you do
on the boss? My group of four wiped the first time, killed him the second time, but we were rezzing the hell out of each other. That fight caught us way off guard in phase 2

I'm in the UK and I got 2 WoW passes and 1 D3 pass so it appears to be pretty random

I too would like to know the answer to this.

game is awesome. I don't remember picking a skill level, but it seems very accessible so far for someone whose never played a diablo game.

the game starts on the easiest difficulty: normal. When you finish it you will probably be around level 25-30, I think. To get to level cap you have to play the game again. This time on nightmare and then Hell mode. The game will be tougher. It will be a good time to try out public games.

Hopelessly addicted. Haven't got far, but me and my estranged friends keep invading each others games to catch eahc other up trade and show off phat loots.

Login server issues aside, pretty damn well done blizzard.

Edit: Saw the Hell videos. I approve of the difficulty. Best get farmin and have a good group make up.
