Got a helmet with 27 dexterity. My monk has 180 dexterity at level 18 wich mean 180% more damage. fuck yeah. Monks are awesome.

Also, fucking lagging here. Jesus christ blizzard, Im playing alone and it's unacceptable that I have to suffer lag in my freaking game. I would understand if I was playing in a public match but Im ALONE, there is no reason for me to have lag. Jeeeeeez, they are tempting me to say fuck it with their next game, seriously. But on the other hand it's D3 and it fucking awesome.

I'm merely responding that it is unlikely that there is a hidden attack speed bonus, similar to claws in D2 because everything is so completely askew from D2.

I think the weapon bonus is linked to a certain Passive ability. Most of the class weapons I have seen just add something like extra class resources etc.

Does putting on FPS limit help or hurt you? I turned it off at one point and my screen froze and I almost died. Turning it back on and limiting it to 60 FPS made everything run MUCH smoother. Any thoughts on this?

Maybe the lower limit puts less stress on your GPU. Not sure exactly.

There's no way to reset the follower's powers? Wish I had visited the page with good descriptions before I chose a or b...
0.5 AP/second isn't that good when you already got 10+...

DH question: does dot double when you use two 1-handed xbows vs one 2-handed? Like, are 2 20dot xbows better than 1 35dot xbow?

Yes there is. Not 100% sure how I did it but I have reset them before. Maybe they need to be in town for you to do it.

Edit: See above!

Depends on the stats but usually just equip and see what the number says! Attack speed is the main difference, as well as min/max damage.

A lot of people were on servers like that. It wasn't like SWTOR where there were like 2 servers that were really bad for a couple weeks. There were probably 20 or 30 servers that were horrible for months. I remember playing on Skullcrusher when BWL came out (which was in July of 2005) and getting 30+ seconds of latency on instant skills trying to do Razorgore every single night because so many guilds were running it. That was 8 months after the game came out. We didn't get time credited for that, but it was completely gamebreaking all the same.

Expansion launches being fucked are hilarious. And by hilarious I mean what the hell. I think EverQuest expansions forever numbed me from caring :x

Vault is my favorite DH skill, ESPECIALLY with Action Roll. I don't think I'll be replacing it with anything for a long time. Maybe the rune that makes it drop fire on the ground :p

So i was gonna install D3 tonight, i get back, run Setup.exe and i get stuck at "updating setup files" right....

DAMN IT, i read this was an issue, tried a couple "fixes" nothing worked, any ideas for this?

No. Dual Wielding gives you a 15% Attack Speed increase but you alternate between the two weapons. Two 20 DPS Bows means they're about the same as a ~24 DPS weapon by itself.

wait, blizzard takes a transaction fee out of gold-auctioned items

wat

It's a way of controlling inflation. Along with crafting, equipment repairs... keeps gold from spiralling too much.

Hey Demon Hunters, what do you prefer, the trap that slows or the spike trap? I definitely want to keep using the fanning knives and Vault. So I only have 1 spot left until I unlock the 4th...

DH is starting to sound a lot cooler than I initially felt it would be based on first impressions. Gah 2 hours till I play!!!!

Seriously, why the hell are all my screenshots 0kb and empty... can't show off the most handsome class of them all.

edit: Wwhew change quest worked.

Has anyone sold anything in the auction house? I listed of a bunch of yellow's at a starting bid of 1000 and a buy out of 10000, haha. No idea what they're worth but I guess we'll see.

Played Demon Hunter to level 13, then went back and tried out Wizard. DPS for Demon Hunter is stupid powerful, but I really do enjoy the Wizard when I'm working with others. Lots great attacks and assists to help the party, where I might not want to solo as a Wizard.

I have sold a few bits. I have no idea how much things are worth, so I tend to go cheaper. :D

Are there just gold, purple and white drops in this game? I got a couple gold from killing the Skeleton King but I don't knwo if they're worth anything... What's the rarest set of drops? Also, how do I identify items.

Yes, you're way overpriced. Lvl 10-25 rares are about 500-3000 gold buyout. Rares aren't very rare.

As a barb is there any point going 2h versus dw? It seems that all the 2h wpns I pick up don't do much more dmg than the 1h wpns I have.

Grey, White, Blue, Yellow, Orange, and Green should be the color spectrum. Not sure where to put Orange (Legendary) and Green (Set) in terms of progression...

And you Identify items by right-clicking them.

Better burst damage. Especially for skills with no cooldown.

Oh, that! Yeah, weapon speed was variable between classes. I actually don't know if that's in Diablo III then. I'm going with "no" but I don't have any data on-hand to support it.

Yup; all skills, even spells, are Weapon Damage based. I actually want to say that the first or second tooltip you see in game actually mentions this.

I should read everything more carefully. I had no idea...

Damn, that thunderstorm in Act 1, with the lightning effect is pretty awesome...I also love with my WD calling up my 3 dogs and making them explode when there's a mob around them hehe...very cool so far...my latency isn't bad, well if you can call 170 ms good(usually below 50 in other online games).

No, it's not screen tearing. shit is...jumping a little bit here and there. my latency is usually around 200ms+.

No idea why. No other games are giving me any lag issues.

Probably the latency then, and probably not your fault. Blizzard definitely seems to be undergoing launch pains with their servers...

Perfect, the achievement for recruiting the blacksmith is bugged. Since I unlocked him while the servers weren't tracking them, I don't have it. And since he's already unlocked, I can't achieve it.

bahhhh, curse these choices. I use caltrops a lot but I feel like the spikes might get me more worth. The fanning knives are great damage wise though. Then again I do most of my damage from a distance....

I don't think I could live without Caltrops :x

Sounds like something customer service will have to fix :(

I'm not 100% certain if there is a tooltip saying that or not, I'm just saying I think I remember an early tooltip mentioning all skills are based off of Weapon Damage. Think it would be when you get the Wretched Mother quest.

But, yeah, all skills are Weapon Damage based. Their tooltips all say this too :x

Would you be able to get it in another difficulty once you finish the game?

Hmm how come it says something about parental controls when I try to change the currency in the auction house (EU)?? I haven't activated any as far as I know.

Yeah, it's very annoying. I'm to the point where I no longer care about them as it seemed like I kept loosing one or more every time I logged back in.
