Alright, if anyone remember any juicy rumors from their mind (games, wii u features, etc) Please do share. I need some kind of brainstorm for my bingo chart.

Already ahead of you on that.. PC for the best of upper-end gaming, Nintendo for the best of console gaming. It's always been that way for me. :)

If they are truly serious about getting hardcore gamers on board then this would prob be the best thing they could possibly do.

I think Epic will want to show it off running on a beast PC with a GTX 680 tho, basically the best it can possibly look.

Would love to see it tho.

Oh, and BY2K, although I think you're crazy, there is an Epic quote (I think it's Mark Rein) about the Wii U which might help make your case. I can't remember where it came from, but Rein was asked something along the lines of "What did you think of the Wii U when you saw it at E3 last year?" and answered in a very evasive manner, implying he'd seen it before that. If you wanted to read too much into it, it might be stretched to imply that they've been partnering with Nintendo on the Wii U from early in its development.

Hmmm i'm not so sure...I mean that meeting with Valve seemed pretty eyebrow raising. If not an actual home console (which I believe they will do), at the very least they will release a controller add on for the iOS devices.

IMO of course, IMO.

I stated in a rough sense its like a 360 with a Wii(the tablet) added on.

Lets not be so literal eh? Because you are not gonna get flat out straight answers from me until the unit is in everyones hands
 
We all know were not getting tech specs, a release date or a price at E3.

Do people think the power will be able to be worked out from people seeing exclusives videos tho ?.

Will tech guys on here be able to say 'yeah thats under 500 gigaFLOPs or a 1 terraFLOP GPU' or will we have to wait until someone buys one and rips it open ? ;).

Direct Feed Footage and not offscreen junk would offer the best chance to compare and contrast power

wait what? release date? I heard that they wouldn't announce price at e3 but release date?

Nintendo will never do a "full reveal", what do you think will be the black holes of this years presentation besides price?

My guess is "launch date is TBA", and "we're not announcing the full launch line up yet".

Of course there will be IQ improvements. That said it of course also falls on studios to put in the IQ improvements. If they dont make better textures etc for the Wii U for instance its not gonna be any different

We have to get price and release date. I've been thinking that's a given. I would understand if it was coming out next year, but this baby is ready to come out of the oven. They need to let the whole world know when, and how much.

Nintendo has already announced that launch details won't be shared.

I also imagine, they probably won't share console specs and how much internal memory you can expect

They already said dont expect date and price at E3, unless they plan a september conference, but that shit is too close to launch for that kind of information, I need to put in a 4 day break. 2 days before launch to camp out and 2 days after launch to game.

Obviously.

And GAF will judge Wii U's capabilities based on the ones that don't look any better (or in some cases worse) than 360 versions.

Really? That's ridiculous. Unless this is coming out in 2013, I'm still not sure how or why they wouldn't have solid numbers yet.
 
Does anyone else think that there is a memory reset every 10 pages or so in this thread lol ?.

Ideaman and BG have both said that the Wii U hardware will be at least twice as powerful as the Xbox 360.

Thats a 480 gigaFLOP GPU, 2GB of Ram and a faser clocked 360 like CPU.

That is a GPU 40 times more powerful than the original Wii and 17 times more Ram !.

It will also run in HD and use Direct X 11 like features, which will allow downscaling of the big third party engines like UE4 and Cry Engine 3.

Calm down people it will be more than fine hardware wise :).

I wish they would just put head to head numbers on the main E3 screen to show it's twice as powerful as that would stop all the 'on par with PS360' threads when people look at third party ports of things like Batman and AC III.

I don't recall anything about the Wii U using DX11. I just recall it being comparable to DX11.
