Anyone else here alternate between two characters? I have been switching between Demon Hunter and Barb and also messing around in public games.

I'm not in any hurry but I am still having a blast. I am not even done act II yet.

In the morning I was getting fluid, responsive 100 or less ping (a bit more but always below 200).

In the evening I have been getting consistently over 200+ and sometimes over 300 with occasional lag spikes. It has affected performance a bit but still very playable. Haven't died yet to lag.

So this is a nice graphical touch I noticed, but when using crippling wave on the monk the symbol that appears on the ground after the third strike is different depending on the rune.

Yeah me too. Got disconnected from a public game. But I was able to still play. I hopped into my own game.

I find that if you have more than 2 people in co-op, the game gets pretty unstable lately.

I haven't gotten weary yet (I assume you have to do it at a very particular time) But Cain's disappearance is very early right before you rescue Cain for the first time.

The Gem dealer and the blacksmith conversations are impossible to get the first time through. Either replay the section in the chapter or just get it on new game plus.

Searching is slow because of how flooded the AH is. I did a search for a rare barb shield with lvl 24-27 and the amount of results was mind-boggling. Using the filters for specific mods seems to be a good idea. I even had a 13k max buyout on that search and it still returned hundreds.

Searching is slow because of how flooded the AH is. I did a search for a rare barb shield with lvl 24-27 and the amount of results was mind-boggling. Using the filters for specific mods seems to be a good idea. I even had a 13k max buyout on that search and it still returned hundreds.

I mean my searches keep coming back with no results after about 20 seconds.

Sometimes if I do a broad search it'll come back with stuff... sometimes. But if I try to narrow it down any it always comes back empty.

Ok so I figured it out. I was forcing v-sync on in my nvidia control pannel. This is great for other games but cuts my FPS in half in this game... gotta be a bug.

From my experience with DII GAF, most people dont talk except to talk about trading/giving items, about brb, or commenting on the monsters/environment/music.

Considering Nightmare is the start of the actual game, it would be a waste not to experience it.

I would expect something similar. It's pretty straightforward. Though, it does a great job of creating intensity in the atmosphere.

You know what I'm getting that too. Just did some searches for barb weaps range 24-27, 2h weaps, and got nothing after it searched for like 20 secs. Servers are probably getting hammered. Maybe if we log out and back in, I dunno.

You are missing alot of what I am missing. The good news is that I have the three companions conversations all down minus 1 for each and all 4 are what I believe to be 'final' conversations. Every time a portal comes up in the game just take it back to home base and talk to all the main characters. With a few exceptions you should be able to get 90% of the conversations completed that way.

You should be stacking Strength. Get gear with high STR, and start hoarding rubies to put in your weapons.

Your DPS seems abnormally low. Look at your gear. You should have a lot of STR gear.
