Is there anyway to reset the in-game tutorials? I didn't get to finish reading the one on dual-wielding and now I have no idea how to get my monk to actually use a sword instead of just punching everything.

As someone who entered Diablo for the first time with 3, and after having played day and night since launch, I have reached a conclusion.

That it is personally a new kind of addiction and a fantastic game... but I think I love Starcraft and WoW more. I just see myself playing those games way after I've stopped playing Diablo. I think.

That's how it is. Will be fixed later.

No need to dig in that.
You will still use your fists - if I am correct, they will add monks weapon animations later on.

How are you guys finding other GAFfers to play with? I know there's the list but there's so many names and then I have to find who's doing Nightmare and what part.

See I am the opposite. I couldn't get into Starcraft, and I love the RTS Warcraft games, and I played WoW pretty hardcore from 2004-2008, then when Diablo 3 was announced, I slowed down and waited for it. I'll play Diablo 3 for the foreseeable fuiture.

Played 14 hours so far and I'm not even done with Act 2 normal... >.>
I have this obsession with having to explore every square inch of every area I go to so I think that has inflated my game time.
Ridiculously addictive.

Add them and when you have selected different diff, you will see box next o them for invite - if not, they haven't been on that difficulty.

It is long to add them, but it's one time only..

for real, its the most generic old chinese dude voice ever, so familiar

i kept thinking it was the dad from kung fu panda

Hahaha, now that you say that I'm hearing it too. I want to check imdb, but dont want to get spoiled on possible characters I dont know about.

I love that in general there is no clear favorite among Blizzards game. A sign of a great streak from their part.

Seriously? So, there's a chance that I might not find everything I need to
get to Whimsyshire
? So, if I'm not seeing the shinbone now, I won't see it unless I restart the chapter? Dammit :(

Once you've been through once, going back is super easy and quick, and you can literally play any part of the game you've cleared at any time. It's not that bad :)

The game is made to be replayed like this all over the place.

Do you click for each attack or just hold in the mouse? I have to hold in order for not make my girlfriend go crazy with the clickingsounds..

My wizard has a DPS of 249 at level 22 and I thought I was doing all right without farming bosses, but everyone is calling my DPS weak.

For those who finished...

How has the story panned out? Better, same, worse than its immediate predecessor?

About the same to me, but I was never enthralled with any of the active plotting in Diablo so that isn't high praise. Fun lore though, and great CG scenes.

Too bad it's so god damn compressed, though.

Nonsense! A budding cartogropher must map out every part of every region.

I walk along the borders of new regions, then after circling my way back to where I've began I go left to right to left to right killing all the mobs. Then once I've mapped it out I do the dungeons that I have found!

Man.. Those tremor things in act 3... Combined with those axe skeleton dudes... Deadly.

The person I was playing with died on the boss... Didn't realize he could be revived and I beat him by myself (he had 80% health left)

That was annoying

On Normal, you can just stack the crap out of INT and you'll be fine so you should be able to get higher. It's just getting that INT gear can be a little tricky early on.

The BD is so glorious, you have no idea.

So freaking good on a 60" TV in hi-def.

Why do the legendaries and set items in diablo 3 suck so bad? It makes me sad, and removes most of the incentive to play the game at max lvl tbh. Dunno wtf blizzard was thinking.

Yep, but I already love the potential of Diablo III. :] It's designed from the start to avoid most of the pitfall of II and I think we will be seeing more expansion this time. Blizzard doesn't shy away from releasing several expansion to a game unlike the past so I think Diablo III will see plenty of extra content in order to reach level 99 (WoW will be on it's fourth expan and Starcraft 2 consist of a main game+2 expan) .

After Titan comes out, I think the planet will explode before we see a new, full edition of a Blizzard game.

I need a bigger TV. 46 inch ain't cuttin' it anymore.

I hate the mess of achievements I have right now. I don't have the achievement for killing (Act II spoiler)
Maghda
, but I have several gained after that. :(

Got my first legendary last night as well. In Act II normal.

Still getting Error 3007 after some minutes. The game has been unplayable for two days now. :/

When did you complete the prerequisites for that first achievement? I remember reading the achievement servers were going up and down in the first day so a lot of people have missing achievements like that...

I've only seen a few images of max level legendaries and set items, but they seemed pretty impressive. Whats the problem? Like are they substantially weaker than rares or something?

wtf? this guy is on inferno playing as monk and owns hard.

ACT 1 spoilers!

http://en.twitch.tv/nl_krippi

confirmed monk is fucking OP.

This shit is ridiculous.

Edit: ok now he died. He just ran into a rar mob pack. Oh and he plays solo.

6765 damage O_o

I lol'd

I'm at level 24 an have a dps of 150 or so. And everything dies with 1 or 2 seconds. I actually can't imagine what higher dps is like. lol

So I'm level 24 and I only have 115dps on my gear and I probably spent most of my money on learning blacksmithing. I put on dex gear and anything else that increases damage but I don't particularly care if I don't find any. Why should I care so much about getting gear for dps again when the game is so easy at this point?

I do feel like I'm barely earning any money though for some reason. I'm quite sure I earned barely more gold going through act 2 compared to act 1.

I realize I'm a wuss, but I always get mini-burn outs after a few hours of *anything*. I always want to stop and go out and do something else for awhile then come back.

I put 6 hours in yesterday though, that's the most I stuck into a game in one day in awhile.

Twenty though... I'd probably have a huge headache after that.

I just finished it on normal. When playing Act 1 and Act 2 I had really fun and thought they got everything right. But Act 3 was so boring, and Act 4 was OK.

So hmmm, I will continue playing, see if I change my mind.
