Yeah, just all of that little banter, whatever was scripted and wasn't, who knows, just really got me. He really is the guy I associate most with a single character now. He is Iron Man.

Agreed, RDJ plays Iron Man like one would expect a 'genius, billionaire, philanthropist playboy' - eccentric, over-the-top, brooding at times, quick-witted and a big heart. I always figured he was destined to play Iron Man from the days Wizard magazine did their casting calls - it just so happened that it became a reality.

Herc should be introduced in Thor 2.

No way, she's a terrible actress.

Not in Haywire she isn't. She's astonishingly good. I assumed Carano would be appalling given her lack of acting experience, but she displayed a surprising amount of subtlety and finesse. It was like the opposite of watching Eliza Dushku.

Why introduce her in TIH2. Gage the interest and then decide whether to have her appear in A2. I have a feeling that the audience would love her smack talking, joking personality.

I was impressed. Not just anybody can split a screen with Fassbender and not look completely abusrd. I don't know if "astonishingly good" is exactly right but, I certainly didn't know she could act at all.

Coming from someone who loved Haywire: she was really flat.

It worked fine enough for that film, but she couldn't play a character as nuanced as Shulkie.

Her voice was dubbed over for most or all of the movie. She can't really act that well.

Was it a separate voice actor or her? Because if they got someone else, she really sucked too. I would be really curious to hear the original audio. Just visually, she has a lot of charm in certain scenes, but the voice is just so awful...I can't help but think her own audio wasn't as bad.

Studios have made horrible decisions like this before, after all.

just returned from the theater. I absolutely loved it. as if my Whedon love wasn't already cemented, i thought he did a masterful job of weaving all the storylines together.

one question regarding the after credit scenes. How many were there? was it just the one after the initial credits? I stayed for that one, was there something else at the very end I should have stayed longer for?

Not really. It's just a single shot of them in the schwarma place, eating and looking exhausted.

She's not green anymore? Kidding!

I know what type of character she is, she's the opposite of Banner, a lawyer, always stays green, yada yada.

I don't hate her, and "terrible" was probably too strong on my part. I am uninterested in her as a character, and as a member of The Avengers film series.
Yeah I was never too in to her either, tbh. I like the idea in general but it doesn't appeal to me and I don't think it would fit well in an Avengers film either.

Actually she fits with the theme. Whedon has embraced the campiness with jokes and witty one liners. She Hulkk does that very well. So yes she does fit the theme of the Avengers.

But I honestly don't expect her either. Joe Q doesn't like her and likes Ms. Marvel more so.

But it is Joe Q who thinks Bendis is talented, thought OMD was a good idea, and lets Loeb continue to write.

She-Hulk is much more than her (admittedly dumb) premise. Being judged on that is the biggest problem for that character.

Which is why tacking her onto a Hulk movie everyone is gonna see for Hulk would show people that she's actually awesome.
There's always Spider Woman. Most weirdo back story and power set ever.

It's more of a joke, the Avengers go get shwarma right after the battle

Maria Hill interrogation opening and ending is interesting. Was the film originally framed that way?

EDIT: Supposedly also going to be a 10 disc set which is rumored to be all the Marvel films.

Darn, I'd kill for a whole cast commentary. This cast seems to have the biggest bromance ever amongst all of it's costars, so it'd have been fun to listen to them. But will be getting the 4-disc set regardless.

Black widow brings up a good point.

I wonder if James Bond can hold his own during a alien Invasion. Of course he. Can! Brosnan knows how to throw a party.
