I know that. I'm pretty sure a mod wouldn't give: “You're a piece of shit and your opinion does not matter. Cunt.” as a reason for a ban. But that does tell me he is far from okay with that ban.

i think the console might have originally been scheduled for a late 2011 release (skyward sword would have been an earlier 2011 release since it was done before or around e3). the 3ds pushed everything back, so whatever they had planned for that time went to mid-2011.
and now it'll very likely be late 2011. they've probably had an extra year gathering support and developing games for the machine, especially since they've been letting the 3ds coast for over a year.

He was ashamed of what he posted, his pretensions of Nintendo love/hate, he was sorry about his coldblooded-ness, his dispassion, his inability to now express what he now believed was the case. That he truly regretted his posting errors, that he missed NeoGAF as much as anyone, and wished his bans hadn't been necessary.
Even as he circulated the Wii Spec thread, he knew the assumption he'd get banned appeared when he passed by. He received so much notoriety he could read "BP level rant", "bipolar", "was bound to happen" without any reaction except curiosity. He kept to his PC desk all day, pressing F5, looking at his destiny in every DR and Guek.
BurntPork came into GAF on 5-12-2011. He had no grand scheme, no strategy, no agreement with higher authorities or "insider knowledge". Nothing beyond a vague longing for glory and a generalized wish to discuss news in the Wii U Spec thread, and pwn where possible.
BurntPork would be ordered to serve a Permaban for his behavior in this thread. Over 7000 votes would eventually be gathered in a petition asking for BP's return, and on E3 2012 a yet unnamed mod would pardon the man.
There would be no eulogies for BurntPork. No copies of his AV's would be sold online, no people would crowd the streets in the rain to see his funeral cortege. No biographies would be written about him, no children named after him, no one would ever pay 25 cents to touch the keyboard he posted on. The ban hammer would come down, and BY2K would scream, but BurntPork would only sit in his chair and stare at the monitor, the light going out of his account, before he could find right words.

Guys, posting in a thread during E3 is madness! What you do is open up IRC and chat it up with E3 stream window at one side of your monitor and IRC on the other.

Yeah, I intially expected the Wii U to be an early 2012 thing. I figured that the consumers have shown Nintendo, and everyone else that you need new exclusive software if you want early adopters, so that pushed things back a little to have more for launch.

He totally deserves the permaban. It kind of saddens me because I wanted him to become a good member after so many long bans. Oh well, he got wayyy too ignorant for his own good and ultimately paid the price.
I'm shocked that he wasn't banned due to a sales thread, however. Especially that sales brings out the worst of him.
