They are both hard to find and weak...Blizzard really need to step up the Uniques/Legendary.

The more I play this game, the more I feel it... rushed. If that's even possible

I felt that way when I finished Act 4 :/

And the itemization is stupid, please fix it Blizzard!

People saying the AH ruins the game.

I'm in act 4 NM and I'm stuck. Shit dps. Not enough HP. Threw so much gold at leveling blacksmithing but smithing is a crap shoot. I have no choice but to hit the AH so I can get past act 4.

The WD's problems at high levels has me sad, because I love the interplay of a lot of his skills, but it's true he has weird scaling issues in late game.

What are the issues, exactly?

My only real problem with the WD so far is that he can't move cancel like the DH can when using his ranged primaries. That seems like it might really ruin his kiting potential in the long run, unless I can get some absurd attack speed.

People who say the AH ruins the game are stupid, they don't have to use it thus it doesn't ruin the game.

It's there for a reason.

Just found this baby for my lvl30 Barb. Just gotta put my biggest Ruby in there.

atleast it's too tempting to just hit the auctions to buy some perfect squared gems and maxed out rare weapons for your current level for candymonies. i tried to play legit at first by using loot and blacksmith items :P but it is silly that the auction house basically does render the blacksmith/jeweler useless.

Still laggy as fuck.

Most legendary weapons have +1-3 random properties though. Every blue weapon that has extremely high dps has a high +damage mod on it. Couldn't the random properties on the legendary weapon be the +damage mod, making it a lot higher than your regular blue item? Pretty sure a perfect legendary is still going to outclass a magic item.

It only renders them useless because they cost so much gold to use by yourself. You can get some of the gems cheaper than the combine cost alone :lol

Until you are playing your 5th character and just want to get him/her level 60.

The AH is there for a reason and i love it, if you want to play "legit" which is a ridiculous to think that using the AH makes your experience less "legit" then do it, doesn't make the blacksmith useless because once you actually get it passed level 5 you can craft gear that sells for pretty damn good on the AH, i crafted a helm that is pretty godly.

I'm going to ignore the AH entirely until I beat nightmare.
And that's cool, that's your prerogative but the AH being there doesn't ruin the experience because some people don't care if they can beat the game on normal or hell with the gear you find.

Some people like myself don't mind using the AH and just want to hit 60 and MF with friends and prepare for the PVP patch. The whole "ruins experience" is like the argument where X remakes ruined my childhood, no it didn't because that movie still exist, that experience is still there and you don't have to see the remake. My 200k has to go towards something other then upgrading gems and i love playing the AH (buying/reselling)

How dare free market make everyone richer :lol

Is there any list of what the bounds are for the properties to the random drops? Like, listing things like just how much int can a level 8 ring have for example.

So is smithing really that bad? Am I wasting money by investing in it?
Depends what you want to do with it, once it's a higher level you can craft some killer gear that can get you a great amount of gold on the AH and some gear you make will be really amazing that you want to use.

But also it's a gamble every time you craft, took me like 30 crafts on this helm i was making to get a ridiculously good one, smiting doesn't get good till you upgraded it a lot.

It's like Blizzard doesn't give a shit about EU. These servers can suck my ass.

I really wish the magical properties weren't random. It's makes BSing so useless. I sat there yesterday making items after items to find nothing that worked for my barb. It's frustrating because like I said I spent all my gold leveling that stupid profession.

Latency is kicking my ass today, how many people are EU here, wondering if its worth me restarting on EU server.

It's too bad you can't use the same character data on any server :(

So is smithing really that bad? Am I wasting money by investing in it?

YOu can get some really nice stuff later on and its all luck based on what stats you get, sometimes you have to remake an item 10-20 times to get good stats , so yea its extremely expensive, probably better just buying off the AH.

Of course there are pieces on the AH with 5-10 million price ranges so good luck affording them.

The latency in Euroland seems to be all over the place tonight. That's the first time I've left a game thinking "Fuck this!". >:-{

Are you EU playing on US servers like me or, EU>EU connection ?

As long as it's not Diablo II levels of worthless.

At least they're not bound to those damn orange item types.

I'm in TN and for the past two days, I'm barely getting 300 ping. It's been like this for two days...

REALLY smart move removing all forms of single player, Blizzard.

Do we know whats going on with the glitch where you lose your entire stash/gold?

Do you mean after you get disconnected? I'm to the point that if I find a legendary/set item, I'm quitting immediately. I've lost so many rares and experience because of disconnects.

It is a huge gamble. You can strike rich and roll an amazing item on your first try but you're much more likely to waste money on either horrible items or items that aren't good for your character. In the AH you can pick what kind of item you want and how much you're willing to spend.

You using comcast? a lot of comcast customers in TN (at least knoxville) have been complaining about ping issues and i have been having the same problem but i for one am glad it's online because there is far far far less risk of duped/hacked items.

That ruined D2.

Is the stash combined for all characters? Aka I can use an amazing DH item I found on a monk on my DH by putting it in the stash and then picking it up? That also means I only have to level artisans on one char? :p how about gold? Can you also combine the gold from 2 chars?

I just dont like having to rely on Soul Harvest.

All gold, stash and crafting professions are cross character compatible.

Meaning you only have to upgrade your BS and jeweller once :D

All three are shared across all non-HC characters.

Heh, you guessed it. In California, I never had issues with Comcast. Out here, it's really slow. True about the duped. I want a good, clean real money AH.

Yeah, otherwise people would have a person with nothing but MF gear and they'd drag him through the game acting as a loot magnet. This way it balances out.
It doesnt have to be that way.
For example. MF = Your MF, plus % of other players MF(maximum +20%)

I also now just realized that crafting gems in the game costs more than auction prices on the actual gems. I think blizzard might wanna change that.

What is with the ridiculous AH prices? I see level 29 rares for 250,000 buyout and stuff. This shit can't possibly be selling. I've been selling a lot of stuff by just doubling the default asking price. Sometimes I feel like I'm putting them up for too low, but I haven't sold some nice rare 2-Hs for 1,000 and I know there's a shitload of Barbarians out there.

This AH could stand to take a few tips from the WoW AH too. I mean the 10 item limit, no way to cancel your auction, forced 2 day auction times, and some other things really make me wonder what they're thinking. I had to make a mule character just to hold all the stuff I want to auction.

Yea the limitation of space and being able to cancel your auctions is really strange.

It's also strange that they didn't add the "change to stats" to the AH when comparing gear slots.

I think the problem with good items not selling is there is just too much shit on the AH tbh, you have to be pretty specific and filter out a lot of crap loot to even see the good stuff, which most players probably don't do.

okay, so in the middle of playing, the game just started lagging, where i could walk around and click on enemies and swing but nothing was happening. So i tried to exit the game, it took a little while, but it finally exited.

When i tried to go back into the game, it said something about an error with my account credentials or something.

So i fully exited out and came back in, and when it gets to the hero green checkmark, it took a bit and then i got error 3006.

My question is, is my character screwed? Is there a chance of you losing a character entirely, or is this just a wait a few minutes and try to load it back up?

I've fixed my stuttering problem by forcing the game to use 2 cpu cores instead of 4, it's weird but now it runs smoothly as butter

Anyone figure out the 0% install issue? Trying to install the guest pass...US user...even tried the eu installer...no dice...also ran as admin did nothing...and no its not showing up in my C drive either

I did sell a shitty lvl 28 legendary mace for like 75k gold, so it's always possible.

But I usually just put up random rares for 9k and they rarely sell . . . there's just too many items on right now.

What level/class are you? I may have some items I can give you.

limit your results with a maximum of $10,000 and sort by price or DPS, then check the tooltips for stats you like.

don't pay a dime more than $15k for anything, and only that much if you're desperate and in a hurry.

No, I mean I logged in and my stash is empty, all my gold is gone, etc. Theres a lot of hits on google for the issue.

I don't work at comcast anymore but my roomate works tech for the internet side and you won't believe how many people around knoxville have been complaining.

I worked at comcast for years when comcast/WOW were having problems with each other and the latency was so big it was unplayable, i don't know if it's comcast just fucking over the consumers like they did during the WOW fiasco but yeah, it's bullshit and comcast is the devil.

I would rather use ATT u-verse but i get comcast for free since my roomate works there but i have a sneaky suspicion this is on comcast's side because it's happened before and will happen again because comcast has turned into a piece of shit evil company that doesn't care about it's users.
