I haven't been on the auction house much so maybe I'm missing something, but why does an item search result in items that show 1d 23 hours or 30 minutes or less left? Where do I find the in between? I'm mainly concerned about this because my auctions are full right now and I want people to be able to see my damn stuff!

It is obvious why it should be split, you mean.

What? No! Hey you barbarian guy do all the work while my puny ass get exclusive to me loot at way high MF then you.

If everyone without MF gear is lifting more dps then you because you are mf stacked then they deserve a boost in mf for you piggybacking on them.

I need them to fix this gem shit asap. I have 6 slots i need gems in that i bought specifically because gems were easy access. There has to be a way to sell shitty socketed weapons with great gems in them to bypass this.

Yes, this right here makes no goddamn sense.

"Your loot is your own!!! YAY! Individual drops for everyone!!!"

"Oh yeah, we are going to average your Magic Find against the other 3 PUG's nigh nullifying it, kthxbye."

Why should the others have one person with crappy dps/survivability but godlike MF with them? If you leech of them killing stuff they might as well leech of your MF.

Sure, if you are playing with friends where you agree on splitting the rewards but in an open game? I think it fully makes sense.

The rage against Blizz (and Bashiok) is ridiculous.

Some of the blue posts are really great. I love this one:

I see a 4.1 user score? Which I just want to point out is 0.1 higher than Mass Effect 3! YES!

Yeah, but an 89/100 metacritic is pretty good, IMO. Of course that means all the reviewers are just shills and who could enjoy a game where an orange colored item can be worse than a blue colored item. IT'S MADNESS.

Looting in this game is not fun, 30h in and i have never seen a set/legendary item.
I have no Item where i go "fuck yeah thats bad ass", don't even get excited anymore when i see an yellow item drop. And fuck the AH!!!

:'(

So will the difficulty increase by much from Nightmare to Hell? My lvl 47 monk (act III NM) has been having an even easier time in Nightmare than in Normal, lol.

I assume it is the -1 sec CD on CD spells upon critting, a VERY High attack speed, Living Lighting electrocute and spamming the frost nova with the damage debuff type.

I wonder how much crit chance do he needs for this, and how much attack speed. 40%+? 2.5 attacks per sec? Or just around 2-2.5?

I want to know why the hell the final rune for chakram is so god awful. The radius is tiny. You get it at level 57, a point where if you're in melee range of mobs you're in deep shit.

I put it on immediately thinking it was the d3 equivalent of Pally hammers, but it's absolute shit. :(

Did the final dungeon of Act 1 on Inferno and only got 3 Inferno level items. smh

Depends on what affixes the elites get. With 3 affixes you can already get some assrapey ones.

So how does he keep spamming frost nova?

Read the post I was replying to again. Maybe we have a different definition of 'split', but I understand that to mean what you just described.

Nope, I would say not ready. Too low on life. Pimp sockets with +vitality and sacrifice some dmg for +int(resists). You can also up only one, lets say poison resist and then use monks passive so all will have level of the highest elemental resist.

I never ended up using One with Everything in Hell and managed to get through it with my dodge build. Near 50% dodge and kiting can get your through hell.

Just finished the 'starter' edition. It was my first taste of a Diablo game.....oh man I loved it. The game ran surprisingly well on my laptop which was the big thing for me because I wasn't sure if I'd be able to run it at all.

I just wish I could afford it right now but 45 quid is a bit of a stretch :(

Exactly. Bad design decisions all over the place. It's like they outsourced this to Square-Enix.

I'm plowing my way through Hell mode and that is really the only way to describe it. Between the subpar online and actual game issues. It doesn't feel like Blizzard is on par with their old self anymore.

My recent dilemma was being 56 and on Act 3. The catch. The highest level game I qualified for was Act 2, Chapter 8. So once again, I'm back to soloing and playing older stages till I hit 57. Where I get cut off at Chapter 1 of Act 3. Yet, I already made it to chapter 3. The content is cake outside Elite RNG. I just want to play with others while advancing, yet I can't without either going back 30 minutes in content, hoping the group would've continued after ending act 2, etc.

The 2nd bit is hearing about Inferno, remains me of AQ40. Part of the reason why I quit WoW. Rather than increasing your character in the typical vertical fashion. You now have to side step and make a resistance gear set. While "Fixing" any clever combo people come up with to beat it, saying that its not intend, and Inferno's proper way seems to be a gear check for a stat you haven't needed much from the previous 3 difficulties.

Core mechanics are very good. Never going to be a fan of the cooldowns, simply because DII let me teleport as much as I want. Its one of those things that were unfathomable cool and their blink spell does nothing to live up to it. But itemization issues aside. Their online is interface is embarrassing. It doesn't even feel like its a clear improvement over D2, and D2 had a pretty terrible system, but I could at least join games I needed too. Even most games on console don't seem to actively lock me out on content I already beat and put me in games with more than 1 person.

32 at Tesco:http://www.tescoentertainment.com/s...+Base&utm_medium=Feed&utm_campaign=affiliates (same price in-store IIRC). 35 at Amazon now when it's in stock: http://uk.camelcamelcamel.com/Diabl...xt&utm_medium=www&utm_source=product_link_ttp

The blue posts give me a lot of hope, at least.

I really like what I'm hearing from Bashiok on this stuff, Blizzard does indeed know what they're doing.

Then again, I'm not even through NM yet, so I can't understand the frustration some people are feeling in Inferno.

This had some interesting information in it. The one thing I can't stand is how childish some of the community is. I give some props to those blue posters for not losing it, ha.

Regarding his comments!

I really don't want them to nerf the shit out of the difficulty, but it would be nice if they made things a bit more clear in terms of what we need to work for. If I need to farm resist gear, fine, but make this a bit more "clear". In D2, you knew you needed resist gear because the game clearly told you "-75% resistance". You sort of knew you were fucked until you changed that.

Also, gear farming isn't a clear "thing" yet. I'm not sure anyone really knows the best places to farm gear, and that's fine...But it's a but frustrating to play 10+ hours and see not a single useful thing drop. A good number of blues and a small handful of yellows, but the mods are fucking terribad. I mean, unusable to anyone bad. Level 54 sword with 75 DPS with shit like +10 INT/STR/VIT and a socket. C'mon.

I'm not asking to be given a secret room with 100 chests full of shiny gear, but the thrill of the hunt is lacking right now. If they can fix that and give us a LITTLE more to work with, I'll be content.

Here are my stats as I've started my clear through Inferno. Beat Act 1 last night without any issues.

So my main is a lvl 46 Wizard is in need of new gear, only have 1500dmg and 8k hp unbuffed :/ I've read a bit about how some claim 2 handed are better than 1 h/Offhand. Does gaf have an opinion? Do AP spells not take into account Offhand stats (like if it hand extra dmg or Int?)

Good to know. I always want to see how people are dealing with difficulty in other ways.
I rebuild my monky yesterday and if I am not mistaken I have dex%>armor and some dodge chance there...

Still farming for better equipment tho.

Wasn't D2 the same? I'm not saying that makes it okay, but it's not without precedent.

Finished the game yesterday on Normal - Level 32 Monk with 455 dps.

The game was a lot of fun enjoyed every minute of it. As far as the Acts go I would have to say 3>4>1>2. This game is already a classic for me and I can see myself playing through this game many times over. That is rare for me most games once I beat them that is it there is not much motivation to go back but with this game I want to play it more now then when I first started it and not many games do that for me.

Itemization needs work I'd agree and it's going to benefit Blizz for them to work on getting people interested in farming gear because that's what's going to drive the RMAH.
