Just random colors, but it can be changed to whatever except in regular team MM.

The patterns were expected after we've seen stripes on armor before.

Both skins are ugly. Didn't need weapon skins, but with how popular they are in CoD, it was also expected.

I don't mind pre-order stuff, but the retailer specific stuff is stupid. Also, like mentioned above, it should be aesthetic stuff only. Any pre-order bonus that gives extra weapons or some sort of MP advantage is awful. I don't want to be at a disadvantage because I didn't give a store money in advance.

Halo Reach had a flame helmet armor effect, a chest-piece and an extra attachment for the Recon helmet as exclusive pre-order content. This is definitely a step further.
