Infinity Blade II, how much more advanced is it over its predecessor? Is there alot more variation in what you can do in-game? Liked the first one but the repeated nature wore thin quite quickly

Really enjoying Subway Surf. It's an endless runner game that is free. Nice bright graphics and a Temple Run style of game that doesn't rely on tilting to move horizontally. Achievements, upgrades and no heavy handed IAP.

oh yeah, i heard zen garden is super fun and they only just put it in the ipad version.

I do like it-it does feel like a full fledged sequel-everything has been tweaked-you can use you standard sword/shield or try a heavy weapon like a hammer or dual wield swords. The mechanics for each of these changes up the gameplay/combo/block/special system quite a bit. There are lots of other new features that make it feel fresh-but the whole "Bloodline" mechanic stays the same. Also the Clashmob system is pretty cool-you get some nice rewards, but sometimes the challenges are impossibly tough.

That said, I've noticed I've got to a point where it's taking forever to level up and it becomes clear that they have made it so to tempt you to buy IAP gold to level up faster. Don't do it-you definetely don't have to-but you will have to grind longer. It's hard to explain, but you will notice it after a few hours.
 
Just played through hiragana pixel party. This is definitely an awesome way to learn hiragana, and I recommend it to anyone who's interested in learning Japanese. The app is free, but it only let's you play 12 stages. It costs two bucks to unlock everything, but that's more than worth it if you'll actually go through the lessons and learn it.

I ended up buying all of Hiragana Pixel Party. It's got 192 missions for hiragana, and another 192 for katakana. The learning curve is a bit steep - they really throw you in fast - but it seems like an awesome tool to quickly learn Japanese. As someone who studied Japanese for two years in college (and has forgotten 95% of it by now) I can definitely say this is the most fun I've had learning it, and it seems like it would keep my attention for a long time.
 
Has anyone had this problem before:

I try to buy an app, but when I click on the price it displays the green "buy app" symbol only half and weirdly glitchy, and clicking on it only turns it back blue but still glitchy and it won't let me buy anything :(

I also have a few questions. What is myfreeapp and is it safe?

And what is this "because we may" everyone talked about and how do I access it?

FreeMyApps is a very legit website in which you download an app, use it for 30 seconds, then return to Safari and get credit. Use the credit to get games/iTunes credit/Amazon credit for free. It works well and is easy to do.

Because We May is a game sale going on right now.

I'm having such a hard time finishing this.

The first half I blazed through and was just glued to it.
Now I'm like around 70 percent and I just seem to have cavern after cavern after cavern not really completed.

At least the last 6 times I've booted it up I end up wandering around getting nowhere for 20 minutes before I lose interst again.
All I seem to be doing now is ferrying seeds to Phytas over and over and over and over; and at +5 a piece that's just really painfully slow.

Undeniably a quality title, but I'm just at some major road bump where I'm not sure exactly how to get back on track.
 
Meh. I'd probably do it if my internet was faster but between downloading them and trying them plus pausing my other downloads to make it go faster it'd take too long I guess, if 150 isn't common. Oh well. Thanks for the info. Maybe some day I'm super bored.

Not sure. Have you checked that you have enough free space to intall the app on your iDevice? A reboot perhaps if you havent aleady?

But now I actually have a question for anyone else too. I downloaded that through iTunes on my computer (which I've never done before), and when I tried to put just that game onto my phone, it put every single game/app I've ever owned back onto my phone. It was like 3 or 4 pages or stuff I had long since deleted.

I had to go through it all and individually delete everything (because even when I cancelled the sync, they were all still there). I decided to try again and make 100% sure I was only selecting Fruit Ninja this time, but once again it put everything onto my phone.

Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
 
Holy crap, they really opened the floodgates to this Because We May thing. So much shovelware on there now. Especially garbage that was stupidly overpriced to begin with, like a crappy poker app for $5, now $2. That's not a deal; garbage is garbage, regardless of the price.

It won't even let me click "buy" though, so space can't be it. And rebooting didn't work either :/
