DayZ - zombie apocalypse online FFA permadeath survival Arma II mod

Nobody is trusting each other now. It's all shoot first ask questions later.

The bandit skin needs to come back or at least some indication if a player it's a serial PKer.
 
This looks AMAZING. Sort of like an open world multiplayer Fallout 3. Roaming about trying to survive. So when you die you just what loose all your stuff and start over? I could dig that. I'm almost tempted to go get Arma just to play this mod but it looks like its pretty early in development. I'd love to see something like this become a retail product.

I have a hunting knife, matches, and an axe for chopping wood. It's just that I can't seem to find any animals while walking through the forest.

Yea Mob finding it for me has already paid off.

That bandit on that roof top 850 meters away was going to ambush mob while the group was scavenging Berenzino.

Yup. I managed to get myself all kitted out - AKM, Glock 17, Matches, Compass, etc etc by jumping from deer stand to deer stand with the occasional town/barn raid. I was going prone into a barn when I crawled face to face with another survivor, doing the exact same thing from the other side. We both called friendly and went in, each taking a side. A third survivor came in, called friendly, and went up with me. A zombie got aggro'd and wandered in, as I took aim to help the ammo-less survivor on the other side of the barn, the second executed me from behind and killed the other.

I had offered them both food/water/ammo/bandages too. God damn this game makes me want to flip my desk and walk away...

but I always come back.

Trust no one.

Join the gaf players on mumble we are all trust worthy and help each other out.

Any random survivor that is not in the group gets shot on sight however.

I was going to back away and leave, but there were Zed's behind me. Guess I let my guard down, I was going to log off after that barn too.

I'll roll with you guys from now on, I learned my lesson.

I know as admin on GAF server I get no choice to spawn them in. I think dev team has to manually add the spawning of the vehicles to a server itself. Not the actual individual vehicles themselves just the ability for the vehicles to spawn.
 
Ah, okay. I heard a guy on a certain server say that only the chopper was spawning but none of the other vehicles. It was just after the newest patch so I guess the team had yet to enable the new spawn points again.
 
Anyone have any idea why a server would seemingly lock itself? ANZ7 is currently locked and it's the only one locked, and it's also the server my buddies chose to play on. >:(
 
A bus swerved off road between Elektrozavodsk and Kamyshovo t-boning a passenger vehicle that had pulled over and stopped on the shoulder, killing everyone inside. The bus and it's passengers came away miraculously unharmed though we are getting conflicting reports that the bus driver looked grievously injured.

Driver of T-Boned vehicle is reported to have been a bush which may have lead to the vehicle being improperly driven. Don't let bush's drive cars.

Latest reports confirm the sightings of some as of yet unidentified type of shrubbery and an elderly gentleman, apparently armed with a crossbow, being violently ejected through the windshield of the completely stationary vehicle.

No word from the local sheriff's office on whether or not the driver of the bus will be charged with vehicular homicide/planticide.
 
Footage shows the bus in question veering wildly off road and heading directly for the passenger car, whose driver takes last second evasive action and successfully backs out of the path of the on coming bus or does he? As the buss passes by the car bursts into flames, a phenomena which some amongst the scientific community attribute to Hugh Everett's many-worlds interpolation, simply put the same car from another universe, where in the driver did not take heroic action to avoid the out of control bus phased into our universe presenting us with one half of the terrible accident that took place on the other side.
