Sad to see Ryan not doing the tour of the new office this time. Last time he did it, it looked as if he was going to fall ill.
It looked to me like it's just a screensaver that goes through a folder of images, because I also saw Sonic's Genesis Collection, Alan Wake: American Nightmare and Deadly Premonition, among others.
They've already said they tried, but they couldn't. The students who lived there had either graduated or moved out, and it has new occupants. They'll be staying at hotels, but filming at a new location, which is probably going to be a bar or something.

I generally dislike Jonathan Blow, but I don't see how it is even fathomable to think that the MS guys weren't the worst thing about the show. It was a nightmare. Jenova Chen was also a pretty bad guest, boring ass dude that everyone just gathered around quietly like he had special needs.
Personally, I think they need to bring a different ringer every night. GB has quite a few: Johnny V, Paul Barnett, Jeff Green, hell even John Davison now. Just set one of them up a night with a different group of people, and then if the people suck you know you have at least one guy who is comfortable with talking on the mic and can be entertaining. Finish up with the final cast including all of them.
E3. He's driving down to LA with Jeff.

If I could have a perfect E3 cast it would be 3 segments.
Segment 1: Giant Bomb friends + other journalists crazy stories from E3/wherever including stuff like the Suge Knight tale, Johnny V stories, and other similar stuff.
Segment 2: Developers talking shop like the Jaffe + Double Fine + others portion from last year. It was so interesting.
Segment 3: Mostly Giant Bomb guys and maybe some other journalists giving impressions of things they actually saw that day.
Segment 1: Giant Bomb friends + other journalists crazy stories from E3/wherever including stuff like the Suge Knight tale, Johnny V stories, and other similar stuff.

I actually found the episode with Stepto to be a little enlightening in terms of meeting cert for XBLA and how it may not always serve the developers. I found Blow to be a little obnoxious and disappointed with how much the XBOX guys could say (come on you are not going to openly talk shit about your employer-you guys are asking a bit much of them). Jenova was just boring to me. Even if you despise XBOX and don't own a 360, at least the conversation was interesting.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. RPCG and LOLS are the best pieces of content the site produces. Quick looks are fun yeah, I never have time for the podcast, and I couldn't give a shit about their reviews or news (I know why they exist and I'm sure plenty of people enjoy them, just not why I visit the site). I've been very patient and I hope the really really good stuff returns soon. Get on it Vinny and Drew! Oh and flight club. Always more flight club.

I want developer talk but I am a bit biased on that subject. Giant Bomb being friends with developers and talking shop is what had me listening to them in the first place. Forget the journalists or at least have the developers ask journalists questions. Johnny V would be epic.

Last year Konami pre-recorded their entire press conference and just allowed sites to put the video up at a certain time. Super weird. Hopefully this year it's actually live.
