For Merlin Mann podcasts I prefer Roderick On The Line, I lose it at lease once every episode.
I dont listen to a lot of podcasts cause I ussually just dont have the time. If im on the street I prefer listening to music and whatnot. Once or twice a week is nice for me. Besides the Bombcast I just listen to some film podcasts here and there and to the Irrational games one when they put out something interesting.

Ah. I was worried he meant that he kept having to make edits, leading to something that's a little disjointed.
In audio engineering terms, when an input signal's volume exceeds the capacity of the receiving device, it will "clip" the signal, which usually results in a little pop in the recording.
Some guitar distortion effects actually rely on a smooth, consistent clip which is done at a frequency that is pleasing to the ear. In most cases it's a really annoying sound.
If you've ever picked up a microphone and screamed into it, that horrible distortion sound is clipping.
