So wait a minute.....if the runtime is 2h45 and an IMAX reel projector can only go for 2h40, where will they place that forced intermission shit?

2:45 or close to three hours or what ever the final running time is, it doesnt matter. Going off on what we've seen so far, there seems to be a lot of material and its only good that they dont skimp on it. TDK's run time was also fine considering there were two villains in it and not just the joker.Yeah I don't get it.![]()

Limit is 2 hr 50 minutes
brandonh bringing the haterade again, damn.
2:45 is pretty incredible.
Never felt like any of the Nolan bat films dragged on; you may not have liked some of the scenes but they had their purpose.
I arrived at Avengers over an hour early and we still had to sit in the first row(in 3D ugh)Figuring it all out; half an hour early to get decent seats

I am going to have to get there 2 hours in advance this time.
Yeah I went to the midnight opening but it was still crazy considering its Alabama and an area with multiple theaters near each other.Well damn. I missed the opening crowd with Avengers since I went later in the middle of the week. I could do that again, but I really want to watch it as fast as possible.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDPwBN_IKxsWith length I don't give a fuck.
They could be 4 hours long and I would watch them in theaters. I love Nolan's Batman so much. I waited so long for these Batman movies growing up even before I knew what a Nolan was, simply because Joel Shucmacher's film wasn't right and the stylish Burton's film was off to me with Batman being so blatantly cold blooded while I loved the animated series.
To this day, Batman Begins, is the only film I've watched 3 times in theaters, simply from the sheer excitement of seeing Batman so thorough explored and explored, his gadgets, his reasoning, has physicality being displayed like a monster in the dark for the real first time. It was like seeing my childhood dreams finally being on screen. Nolan seems to be delivering on the Bane I sort of envisioned as kid (without the lame luchador costume), reading how simply inteligent and brutal he was a character in Knightfall, which was hilariously and painfully reduced to a grunting henchmen in Batman and Robin.
Considering the audience MTV has and the fact that MTV is promoting this as a One Night Only thing (lol), I think it will be a clip of Batman vs Bane Round 1.

I ain't watching shit. No more clips for me. I've seen too much as it is and I want to actually be surprised for once.Considering the audience MTV has and the fact that MTV is promoting this as a One Night Only thing (lol), I think it will be a clip of Batman vs Bane Round 1.
at the MTV Movie Awards last year they showed Harry Potter's death scene in full.
Could be super spoiler heavy, Nolan did a one night only thing with the hallway scene in Inception,
Wait...really? I dunno if I want to watch it.

Why is everyone accepting the 2hr45min runtime as official?
