You are right, but their source (engadget links to psvitahub which links to playfront) states that both games will be download codes. It seems they did not link their source, maybe I can find a better source.

No matter, I hope this isn't the kind of price drop/bundle that is Sony's answer to peoples wishes. As far as I can tell this will only cause new owners to be peeved when they get the 4gb card and in my opinion it isn't enough to give the Vita a bump anyway. Hopefully Sony has something to pull out of the hat at E3 and these are just testing the water.

Edit: I can't believe how much the Vita has riding on this years E3, it really is make or break for the system.
 
I just realized that there is no retail version of Motorstorm RC? And it's only 600 MB big - I think this really will be the retail version of Uncharted. With the 3G version of the PS Vita you can download Motorstorm RC, makes sense to include a download-only game.

Motorstorm: RC is a pack in that one would expect along with a 'full' game like Uncharted since Motorstorm RC is only around £5. The FIFA bundles that I found seem to be the same as the Uncharted bundle although they are on sale now with a download code. There was the same bundle with Resistance as well, also a download code.

This doesn't bode well for consumers who don't know that a 4gb card is essentially nothing. At least give people something big enough so they can try out some demos and therefore buy more games.
 
At least they have the TGS mulligan if E3 doesn't work out. After that though...

Still its pretty weird that Vita hasn't been getting any early announcement trailers, teasers, or rumors. All I can think of is the Little King Story trailer and some Playstation All Star port rumors.
 
Peeved about the 4GB card? I don't remember the Xbox Arcade slim having hate around it, and Xbox downloads are much, much much bigger than Vita.

If you aren't buying PSP games, 4GB is fine for saves, retail games and demo downloads.

It isn't when the bundle includes a digital code for a game that is around 3gb. It's almost been 7 years since the Xbox came out, we live in a different time with digital content.
 
I bought a used vita yesterday, I'm trying to restore the vita system but I can't cos it's asking for the previous owners password. What can I do?

I was in the same situation. It wasn't that simple for me. I had to call the original owner, have him deregister the Vita from his account, then register the Vita onto mine. It was a pain but not incredibly laborious.

Went on a giant shopping spree this week. Picked up Unit 13, Lunar, Corpse Party, and Prinny 2.

Then picked up KOF Orochi Saga and Fate Unlimited to add to my fighter collection on this (SFA3, Tekken 6, Darkstalkers, Guilty Gear, Powerstone, Dissidia, and the vita MK, UVMC3, and BlazBlue).

Even if Vita died this year (which it wont't), this thing is my portable fighting game console.

There's been quite a few Vita games announced actually. They are cross platform with PS3 but yeah..

Yes, but it seems the games included are only vouchers for PSN, not physical retail versions, which I would prefer over this.
 
Question: best use of a spare 4 GB card?

of course it's the launch one, I have never used it as I got a 16 GB card when I bought the launch bundle. Will it get confused if I swap cards, in terms of PSN accounts? or can I just use it for demos? or even JP store?

like I'm tempted to use it to download Resistance as its 3 GB + and I'm already under that for free space on the 16 GB (PSP games are on there too).

I got a 32gb and I'm already full I wish sony made them bigger. Remember that when you swap cards the order of the bubbles resets.

I haven't bought it yet, but if you like pool, Hustle Kings seems like it is quite good. I am probably going to buy it in the next couple days.

There was a tweet saying "You guys better get a PS+ sub before E3, even if its just a 3 month one"

Then GAF blew it up to solar system size, so I'm conflicted

Honestly nobody knows.

Personally I'd be betting on first party Sony games having a heavy Vita presence more so than third party just because I don't see Sony going that route with the Vita. Both Media Molecule and Sucker Punch have been quiet lately so those are the two that make the most sense. Maybe Polyphony too. Killzone Vita seems like a lock to show up.

Either way there better be a lot of Vita stuff at the conference.
 
A few PSN games were announced recently, like Jet Set Radio, Snapshot and Guacamelee (from the devs of Mutant Blobs Attack).

Hmm ?

But if they introduce PSN+ for vita and it's separate subscription than ps3 one and all existing subscribtions get upgraded to both PSV+PS3 sub then what do you benefit without owning Vita ?
 
I'm excited for Killzone. Resistance showed me that FPS can be done brilliantly well on the Vita. Whereas Burning Skies was a decent effort from a somewhat-poor developer, Sony Cambridge was already pretty darn good, and now they're incorporated into Guerilla themselves, so this could turn out really well.

I hope we'll see something at E3.

You can't any more. Lots of people tried to do that in the Playstation Plus thread. It used to work with the old online interface, when it was handled by Qrioicity.

Maybe. But thinking about it right now is unnecessary as you can't subscribe if you don't have a PS3.
Redeeming a PS+ code is not possible on Vita or online and getting PS+ with money in your wallet only works on PS3.

I reupped mine a few days ago not because of the hype but because i finally got a new PSP and enjoy the free Ps1 games to play on it.

I wish they would add support on the Vita because i really want a vita but i can't justify spending $250 on a handheld that has 0 games that interest me. Hoping Sony announces a bunch of new stuff or at least drops the price $100.

Nothing out interest me other than Rayman Origins and 1 game doesn't justify $250 to me, to some people $250 might not be a lot of money but it's a lot to me not to mention another 50-100 on a decent sized card so im looking at 300-350 with no games.

That is a lot of money to me and i wouldn't mind spending it if it had games other than fighters. Rayman interest me but it's just a portable version of the console version and it's not a game i would spend $40 on. I need some RPG's, Platformers or at least some decent AAA titles that interest me (like the upcoming AC game that announced)

I want the PS6 portable to essentially be a Vita 2, but I know it’ll be one of these big ugly nerd tablets instead.
