It was odd that he brought up Shadow of the Damned as an example of EA partners doing interesting things, considering EA sent that thing to die.

... Man I hope they don't waste 90 minutes on the first podcast talking to whatever shill guests they have lined up. I actually like the guests, but I don't think they should come in for the first podcast, nor maybe even the second, or at least the first half of the second. Day Zero podcast should be about the press conferences from the Bombcast we know, and Day One should be about the first day of the show. In my opinion, of course.

I haven't listened to the podcast, but maybe he is referring to the fact that the barrier to entry for those services is kind of high? The original plan for those services was for much smaller scale projects then what shows up on there now.

The indie platformer/retro rerelease and interesting puzzle games are not selling what they once where.
How did Kleptok or Alex not jump on that? Both of them have cited that game getting sent to die.
Were they even on the podcast? I could have sworn it was only Jeff and Ryan.

Those are high profile releases though. While EA of all companies should be capable of putting out good AAA arcade titles, not everything comes close to selling like trials or minecraft.

Paul Barnett is still awesome.
There are a lot of worthwhile premium videos IMO and I like the HD setting. If you haven't seen them already then the Random PC Games are particularly good.

I kind of just want a vinny, drew, dave and alexis podcast. Wonder how that would go. Whenever the rest of the crew gets a guest vinny isn't on anyway so he should just start a pirate cast. It'd talk about flight games, photoshop, being married, website coding and old computer games... Man that'd be awesome.
I understand why Drew and Vinny aren't in more video stuff, somebody has to work those fancy machines and boards. But I think Ryan can do those podcasts just fine himself.
I dunno, premium content has been pretty sparse lately (most likely because of the Whiskey Media-Gamespot transition). Though if you haven't seen all of the previous premium stuff, then it might be. Lots of good content to check out.
There is a huge backlog of content but right now they havn't been putting out a lot. I'd wait a month if I were you to see if they get back to a schedule.

More behind the scenes stuff from the video crew in general would be nice. I'm not a huge fan of Alexis. He always seems out of place and doesn't bring much personality or substance to conversations, even in TNTs. Sidenote: I just found my Oscar Mike shirt that I bought from the store a while ago!
