I have the travelling pouch and love it' it is really soft and cushions it a lot. The hori screen protector is awesome and easy to put on. I have heard the chief barrier skin is good for the back, but they only sell the front and back pack. Honestly don't think a back cover is needed. Hope this helps.
 
Quick question, guy on craigslist is selling a vita 3g+wifi w/5 games for $200 so i called him and he has it but i don't want or care for the 3G, is that optional? can i just never pay or use it?

You can turn it completely off in the settings and never use it, yeah.

I think the 3G is just a SIM card that you pay to put data on or whatever. You should be able to just ultimately ignore it. I don't have a 3G model, though, so this probably isn't the best answer.

Awesome! i was worried that i would have to have it on or something.

Although i am not super interested in the games $200 is impossible for me to pass, glad i saw this thread today because it made me go look for a deal.

Does have Rayman which is good and i am kind of interested in the Shinobi/Dynasty Warrior games as well so even if i don't like them i will trade them off or sell them.

Tried to remove the icon, but when I pressed delete it said it would only take away the icon. If I wanted to remove game-data. I need to have the card inserted in the system.

Any way of removing the data without the card?

I'm wondering if a lot of "Vita version" announcements are being saved for the conference. It's their chance to prove Vita isn't dead in front of a crowd and have people leaving with a positive buzz.

I assume it's going to be about 50% vita, 30% ps3/montages and 20% statistics/numbers.

Picking up that deal from craigslist at 6, i really hope they announce a date for PSOne BC on the vita because although i do love my PSP i would love to play it on the Vita.

If single player heavy fighting games be what you are lookin for, you could check out Blazblue if you can bear its anime aesthetic of course.
 
I only kind of scanned that Medal of Honour and other games post. If Need for Speed: Most Wanted is indeed released on Vita then I shall be buying it. I wasn't going to get it on the home consoles but I absolutely adored Most Wanted on PSP.
 
Hmm..., I thinking about putting in my PS3 in for the Vita. Even with some freetime now, I don't use it as much anymore. The games I am into are on or will go on the vita anyway. Is worth selling or trading it for a Vita, or wait til what happens at E3 this week?

I'd recommend waiting until after E3 just to be sure. You never know what PS3 and Vita compatibility stuff could be announced. I much prefer playing games on my Vita over the PS3 though. If games are ever on both then I will most certainly be opting for the Vita version. With trophy support on the Vita too the PS3 lost it's one edge over my PSP.
 
why does Amazon list Gravity Rush with "Release-Date Delivery". But there is no option to select it at checkout. Also, even if you pick one day shipping the est delivery date is two days later.

It looks like whatever Criterion are currently working on (Need for Speed, most likely) it’ll also end up on the PS Vita.

A new job posting discovered today suggests that the role – of a Software Engineer – will be responsible for “optimising and tuning the game resource system for the PS VITA” and “interfacing the game engine with several parts of the VITA OS.”

Interestingly, the role also indicates some kind of cross-platform play. “Implementing interoperation between PS3 and the VITA” is also listed as a responsibility.

So I've had my Vita since launch...and I can't recall ever getting hand cramps on this thing. Seriously. The ergonomics took a little getting used to it, but this is my by far the most comfortable handheld I've ever played with.
 
Today has been a fucking joke of trying to buy a Vita.

Guy on craigslist never contacted me yesterday. Found one on ebay today with a couple games and memory card for a pretty crazy price. Guy was brand new to ebay, but I thought I'd give it a go for such an awesome price.

He is either a scammer or just terrible at ebay. I paid as soon as the listing was done. He refunds my money and sends me an invoice to a different paypal address with a completely different name. Both of the addresses were unconfirmed. So I called up ebay to tell them shit seemed a little fishy there. They of course told me not to complete the listing and that they'd look into his account.

Bought another one like an hour ago. This guy is actually just like three hours from me and has 100% positive feedback. I pay immediately again. Paypal says the money is unclaimed as that email address isn't registered. Sent the guy a message asking what was up. Nothing so far.

I'm starting to think I'm not supposed to own a Vita.

Mainly because I have no clue what you're talking about, and am now afraid to look into for fear of getting pissed off.

EDIT: See it now. It would still cost me more than what I'm paying. Listing was for a perfect condition Vita, box and everything, case, 4 gig card, and Unit 13 for $190. If the seller doesn't contact me by Monday, I'll be going to best buy though.

Yeah, I pre-ordered Gravity Rush with RDD from Amazon. I'm in Southern California.
 
This seems like an extreme long shot, and if it's against GAF's rules I will delete it. I looked and didn't see anything about it but to be honest i'm a terrible skimmer.




If anyone has an unused Resistance: Burning Skies online pass and would like to trade for an unused Ghost Recon Future Soldier (ps3) online pass - I would love to do that.


The chances of this happening, even on a forum with this many people, seems extremely thin... but I figured i'd ask.

I finally bought Hustle Kings. I played the career mode for almost 2 hours straight. I highly recommend the game, especially considering you get it for Vita and PS3 and there's cross-platform online. It's from the same people who made Pure Chess afaik.
