needs funnier text.

Im not getting the hate. We got two new mario games, pikmen 3, zombie u, super paper mario (in rpg form- the best form), lugi's manshion, scribblenuts unlimited, and a look at that lego city game.

I figured Pikmin 3 would be enough to sell me on the machine, as I loved 2, but I actually didn't find it very impressive from the presentation. I still want it, but now I'm just not buying this thing until it stacks up a decent hardware library and works out any faults

"GRANDMA SERVE US DESSERTS. YOU NEED THIS PRACTICE."

I did like that in the trampoline game, when she went up higher you could see Balloon Fighters battling.

Overall disappointing, but not a total dud. NSMBU and Pikmin 3 have me really excited, and I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to have SOMETHING up their sleeve at the developer's roundtable tonight. They've shown Zelda concept art, Pikmin tidbits, Brawl's reveal, etc at these roundtables, I'm not saying that it's definite we're gonna get a megaton but we might get something cool there.

The biggest disappointment with E3 this year is how they didn't show anything "new", even if the games they showed are exciting. I'd be willing to bet that if we had no idea about Pikmin and Mario being at E3 this year, people would have liked the conference more.

Remember when Nintendo had swag when revealing their consoles?

Wii: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, Excitetruck, Super Smash Bros Brawl

3DS: Mario Kart, Pilotwings, Kid Icarus, Resident Evil, MGS (even if it was a weak port), Zelda OoT 3D, SF64 3D...

Meanwhile, they botch the Wii U reveal TWICE.

In relation to expectations Nintendo had the worst conference.

In reality, I think they were marginally better than Microsoft.

Sony's awful conference was better and UbiSoft really stole the show.

Reggie: And now let's end...

Me: Here comes the megaton!

Reggie:....with more Nintendoland. >:)

I am still stunned. Just speechless. Even Sony wasn't dumb enough to end the show on Wonderbook-level crap.

And when are we supposed to see the three hidden games they posted on FB about?

Was it Pikmin, New Super Mario Bros U, and NintendoLand?

Hardcore WiiU fan? You might want to come back to Spike for the reveal of "Project P-100" live on our Show....from a HUGE developer :)

Omg this is the worst conference I've ever seen in history PERIOD.

Nintendo you now have DEFINITELY MOVED ME AWAY from buying A Wiiu.

Gamefly better at least rent out the system so i can play mario bros Wii u and SEND IT BACK!!

Welp, still better than the other two console's showings, but I didn't see anything to convince people to buy a Wii U who weren't going to do so already. A little disappointing, but Pikmin 3 is a sure thing at least.

I love Nintendo, I don't even think the conference was that bad just no real 'big surprise' I had hoped for.... they're always so secretive I was expecting something worth keeping a big secret about I guess.

They needed to come out BIG this first year. Not sure what they're holding back for. The 'good' games are obviously still a year away. Like the 3DS, its gonna take a bit to get going.

Game journalists are gonna shit all over it for now, LOL HOPE YOU LIKE MARIO GUYS HAHAHA etc. Despite the other guys not really wow'ing the world either, I can see Nintendo getting extra shit because of 'new gen' expectation or predictions of it not being so. Gonna be horrible to listen too, think I'm out.

How hard is it to plan an E3 conference? There's ample evidence of what everyone wants to see. You can audibly hear the cheers when something good gets announced like Pikmin.

And if you want this Wii Fit / Nintendo Land stuff, there's room for it in the middle. Just don't have slow-talking Japanese developers demo it. Get actual presenters and blow through this shit. Then let the press eat that up for the casual demographics.

Oh Wii U pedometer. Which can do altitude stuff thats usually wrong :P

Surly this can't come out in 2012? For a company that said "Content is King" they've proven once again they can't practice what they preach.

Definitely going to buy a wiiU at launch but probably only a couple launch games so far.
Nintendo will likely have a followup conference later this year with the real goods.
I like the tech.
