Lollipop Chainsaw (PS3/360) "Ass-Kicking" Trailer

wow, how many trailers did they release for this game? it's getting a marketing push never seen before for a Grasshopper game.

Maybe WB likes to do a lot of promoting for their games. But yeah it's a complete turnaround from the trailers and promotion Shadows of the Damned had when Grasshopper was working with EA.

if like WB and their movies. probably will bomb here too.

EDIT: wrong company lulz.

Anarchy Reigns demo is pushing my car for this aside a bit, but will still get. Must support anime costume dlc whenever possible.

Don't know if it has been mentioned elsewhere, at least I couldn't find anything.
Anyway, Famitsu gave Lollipop Chainsaw a score of 36/40 (9/9/9/9). Probably the best score for a Grasshopper game since Killer7, which received the same score (9/9/8/10)? Not bad at all, since I thought that this wouldn't be a game pleasing gaming journalists. For other comparisons, SotD got 32/40 and both NMH and it's sequel got 34/40.

Is Famitsu usually pretty strict? Thats a very impressive score for a GHM game.

pre-ordered already. my demonstrate my support for quirky, subversive games.
I haven't decided when to buy it yet, but I think it may fall into next month. I'm still busy enough with other games and have not that much money to spend right now either. Nonetheless this is one of my most anticipated games this year. Can't wait to see the OP, seems like Criminal Upper has put a lot of time into creating it.

Good man. A Suda51 game is always guaranteed top 5 of the year for me.

Didn't mean to make it sound like everyone has to buy it immediately; goes without saying you buy it when it's suitable for you.

You didn't sound like that, it's more like that I'm feeling bad for not buying it immediately, because i really would like to, but it just isn't reasonable for me at the moment. Most people won't buy it before a price drop anyway.

Got it pre-ordered. Can't imagine the game is going to sell too well but I hope for grasshoppers sake it does decently.

I'm interested in this... but the amount of marketing is scaring me off. As well as those horrible animations...

Still no OT? :(
It seems there's a full walkthrough of the Ps3-Version on youtube already.
I only watched part 7 but this looks like a lot of fun.

I was going to ask this as well...guess the E3 week pushed it back I guess...

EDIT:
I'd love to put it up now, but there's way too much E3 news coming in.

Waiting till the weekend to put it up, believe me, it'll be worth it!

Ah ok cool, looking forward to it.

I got my Swag box from work.

Preordered when it was $44.99 on Amazon. Definitely looks to be worth it at that price. I dig the zany, insane vibe the game gives off and hope it will be fun and worth some laughs.

I wish.

Shirt

Blood Splattered Pom Poms
Keychain
Real Lollipop
1GB USB stick with head
Baton
Megaphone

Man, that's a whole lot of useless crap. Can't wait for the game though.

Retail Swag boxes are typically like that. Though they states that I was not to give to Customers, but could take home...sooo since I'm big on Collectibles.

The only thing I really want out of there is the real lollipop. It looks damn good.

played this at E3. Surprisingly campy and fun with nice gameplay and plenty of stuff to do besides hacking and slashing. I was quite surprised. I really liked it. With leaderboard and difficulty levels, I'm sure I'll replay this one a lot.

Thanks for the impressions.

NP. Trust me. People will be oddly satisfied when you cut off a big group of zombie heads as the background turns to glitter and rainbows shoot out of their necks as Juliet does the move in slo mo. It will put a smile on your face.

Yeah need some good reviews of this. Still pretty interested but mostly for anime DLC outfits than the game, so the game better be good!

Sadlife holla.
