I'll take 1 brand new Zelda game over 10 3rd party ports any day, but that's just me.
and I don't disagree that WiiU's launch is actually pretty good - it just is lacking the knockout punch of a 3d mario, a new retro, etc.
Realistically, someone can go into WiiU launch and walkaway with 3-4 good games like AC3, NSMBU, Pikmin 3, ZombiU. I know at launch I don't buy more than 2 games, as it gets very expensive.
oh, and I'm pretty positive we are just waiting out the EA Sports and COD announcements. This would mean they are launching either the week of or before Blops2 most likely, which could be a big seller if they show a special version of it.
I think it's just particularly disappointing we do not have a single graphical showcase at the PC. Nintendo, despite having clearly the most powerful hardware (make no mistake, it is powerful), is terrified of anyone commenting on that aspect. They literally had to try to give a presentation/E3 that completely left everyone in the dark about the graphical capabilities of the machine. Like I said in the EA thread, they WAY overthought everything out.
