Makes sense!I'm not sure how to answer this since I have always played Nintendos games for just a good chunk of my life. I'm still going through the back catalogue they have and discovering great games that make me go woah how did they come up with this? For me I have always been more attracted to Nintendo consoles and games. As I have gotten older my tastes have change and been open up due to Playstation and Mac, but I still love playing Nintendo games.
I think the best answer is that you don't have to buy every game they make. If something is interesting to you, look into it and see if you would want to buy it and play it. Their a game company at the end of the day and if you don't care about their games, then why force yourself to enjoy something that your not enjoying. You can always wait for a game to peak your interests in time. Also Nintendo games to me at least feel like I can let my imagination run free, I'm also a big music nerd and the soundtracks to a lot of their games is a major bonus for me. I think Nintendo gets a lot of hate and those people just want things to be miserable or held to some expectations they themselves have established that is nigh impossible to fulfill. I also find them relaxing. I'll tell you after some Marathon runs or times when a game on Playstation such as Demon Souls which still and will kick my ass. Its nice to take a breather for a couple days and just go visit my island in animal crossing. I don't think I answered anything in this post, but videogames are an artistic medium and they mean a lot to me.
Nintendo games remind me hey go outside. Then I go on walks in the park near where I live, and I think about how I'm link wandering the world and meeting people. Helping them in times of need and being friendly that leads to conversations. They remind me life is what you make it and what you learn along the way. To the extent of what you learn about yourself. I wish I had a better anwser for you and anyone else reading this.
Videogames are awesome and give me so many feelings when I play them. Nintendo is just a name at the day.
What games on Mac are you playing?!
