Haha I googled it too when I first heard it. It's probably just a random royalty free from a pack. You can apparently buy bundles of songs like this for use in productions. The podcast Film Riot does it a lot.

Yeah, GB uses royalty free music packs. I'm sure you could ask Vinny or Drew on twitter the actual name.

[something]
i'm on the fast lane
[something]
I don't want to slow down
I don't know what I want now
getting down to the old school
just to kill with the new cool
Whats [something] done
[something]

That is what I understood of the lyrics =/

Interesting. The fact that no one can figure this out is kind of crazy in this day and age.

Wow. Thanks man! You solved the mystery. What kind of site is that? Seems like a generic music catalog. Weird.

Any chance I could buy this somewhere easily? iTunes?

It appears to e a site where you can download music for use under different licenses, including for use in games and TV commercials, but more importantly for you, personal use.

This site is actually pretty interesting...

Yep, thats what it is. Maury and his ilk has been use another company that split from this guys for years. Half the reason he lasted 15 years has been the generic music.

Actually, I would say the biggest mystery of E3 was Flo Rida's microphone bling in the Ubisoft conference. At first I thought it was a huge fuck off ring, but no, it was attached to the microphone. I also thought he was one of those guys that wears shades indoors, but then I realised they're actually safety goggles so he doesn't poke his fucking eye out with that thing.

Having had time to reflect on this, I believe this didn't serve simply as bling, it was protection against would-be attackers coming up on stage. It is, I believe, similar in function to batman's batarang. If someone came up on stage to attack him, he would throw the 'blingarang' at the individual decapitating him and flying around back into his hand so he can continue his performance without breaking a stride.

Mystery solved!

We've been talking about this in the Giant Bomb thread.

The link is in here, too. The other thread also has a source for that not-quite-Futurama-theme they play in the background sometimes too.
