HotShots golf Why can't I down load that game I had it for the PSPgo as well as the Hot Shots Tennis game? Will they be made available?

I just Macgyvered my charger into working, but man I stripped the cable so clean that I'm afraid if I move my computer I'll cause a short that I can't repair... I'll buy a replacement tomorrow and count my blessings tonight.

Just came to look for you. I await the Gravity Rush OT with eagerness.

Lumnies worth it for $36? The demo was fun but does the game get a bit tiring after a while?

I don't think it ever really gets tiring. I don't play it often but when I do I can easily drop a few hours into it. It's one of those games that I don't necessarily play for weeks on end but I keep going back to.

I paid £35 for it and I am still happy with the purchase so yes $36 is a good price.

That last level is much easier if you use the Mauler and the Rocket Launcher. There's plenty of ammo around, make sure you use it.

Yeah, I was using the Mauler. I finally beat the last boss and got the platinum after many attempts.

I enjoyed the game but I'm ready to put it down for awhile; just in time for Gravity Rush.

So GAF I have decided to buy a Vita. There are a ton of PSP games I want to play that should last till the end of the year. Can anyone recommend a good cheap case, and screen protector?

Jet Set Radio. Vita. That's all you need to know. Want that game? Get it on the Vita. SOOOOO. HOOOOOT.

Yes. Listen to this man. Jet Set Radio was an absolute addiction for me back in the day and I have a great love for that little game. It's still on my "all time favorite games" list due to it's sublime combination of soundtrack, visuals and funky, funky style. I tend to love things that are quirky, odd and colorful so JSR is a game that really moved me. I can't wait to see and hear the remake and it's good to hear positive impressions for it from E3. Hopefully the rumors are true and it will be out by the end of the month.

Tuesday is also going to be pretty awesome with Gravity Rush and MGS:HD hitting on the same day. And as excited as I am by Gravity Rush I think I am going to have to boot up MGS 3 before I do anything else. It's the only one in the series that I haven't played and I'm really itching to see it on that OLED.

It's a shame that the many generations of relatively underpowered handhelds have created the perception that handheld gaming is somehow inferior to console gaming, when, in many ways, and thanks to hardware like the Vita, that's not the case.

As it stands, the Vita can produce a broad variety of games. From small, to large. With the added analog stick, there is now no compromising creating quality games on a handheld.

Sure, you may have to make some graphical adjustments, but just look at Uncharted Vita, Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation, PBR, and quite a few others. Visually, they are looking to be in the same ballpark of their console brothers (with PBR on the Vita looking really, really close to the PS3 version).

It's now possible to have a proper Elder Scrolls, or Fallout, or Mass Effect on a handheld.

To me, that's worth the $40 asking price for Vita games. Considering that the current library consists of games ranging from $8-$50, it doesn't seem so unreasonable that a few standout, high profile titles will be priced on par with a console title (and yet still $10+ cheaper than a console game).

A lot of expectations of a handheld have to be readjusted because of the Vita. As a gamer who has seen the evolution of handheld gaming devices, I think the Vita is something the industry has been working towards for decades. To pretend that handheld gaming hasn't been trying to recreate the console experience on the go is to ignore that history of handheld titles that say otherwise.

Your level of details is charming and wonderful, I salute you.
True, being able to play the range of games on this devices is just wonderful, from playing Blob Attack and Snapshot to Jet Set Radio and Orcs Attack to even console game quality such as Sly 4 or Battle Royale is just surreal, I never dreamed I could play this range of games, others might see my post as 'exaggeration' but that's how I feel about this device, and I can't believe the lineup this system has from both Westren and Japanese developers that will make me play for years.

Just picked up a vita and was wondering what size memory would suffice? I'm torn between the 8-16gig. In addition I won't be storing movies or music on the device.

You'll always end up wanting more. I have an 8 and am chomping at the bit for more soon. If money isn't a huge issue, go for the 16.

Do you expect to buy most retail game digitally? Or the mem card is only for smaller digital download games? If you plan to buy big games retail games digitally than i reccommend buying 16gb. If you big games on physical card and only dl small downloadable game on your mem card than 8gb is probably enough.

Also should be mentioned: if he plans on downloading PSP games (which can take up 1-4GB) and Vita demos (which, judging by the Resistance demo, can be quite large as well).

When playing voyeuge mode in Lumines, I was up to about the 7 or 8th skin, then the during the next skin the blocks dropped much faster than any of the skins before that.

Does the blocks speed change randomly or something?.

This is advice thread now isn't it?

:)

In the mean time, do you guys want to know why the game is called Gravity Rush and not Gravity Daze in the west? SCE thought the latter title would leave people to believe the game is a puzzle game ...

Makes sense, should have been Gravity Girl or Gravity Kat.

Toyama chose to make Kat a girl because he felt that the player would better empathize with an unexperienced girl harnessing new found powers.

Do you know if we will get the JAP DLC for Gravity Rush in EU/US too? Already got some preorder exclusive missions - but what about the costumes?

The NA/EU preorder bonus includes Kat's military costume and the accompanying mission packs:

No word on how the other two DLC packs will be distributed.

They change in time to the beat of the music. Some songs are a bit faster than others.

Go for 16 Gig. You will regret buying an 8 Gig because the space fills up pretty fast. Better to have extra memory for the future imo.

Yes, the drop speed changes randomly. When the change the "collector" speed that sucks as well

Hi guys,

I'm sure It's been posted already, but could anybody tell me ( or link me ) How to play fullscreen Ps1 games via remote play. I'm diying to play FFVII on this thing at glorious full screen.

Thx in advance.

After last week E3 i am very disappointing with the Vita, i had high hopes that good games will be announced, but surprise surprise nothing on the horizon.

Am i the only one feeling this way?

I sure you would have to go to your game settings in your PS3 XMB menu. And choose Full screen.

its not going to look as good as a game that is installed on your VITA though, or at least I would think.

I am looking what great games the 3ds have and its only 1 year on the market, i wish we will see that amount of great games after 1 year, an exclusive Resident evil game and something like kid icarus will be great.
