Nice but still weak.
At least the "indies" look pretty interesting. Something I look forward to trying with a VITA.

I sure you would have to go to your game settings in your PS3 XMB menu. And choose Full screen.
its not going to look as good as a game that is installed on your VITA though, or at least I would think.
I feel like I'm the only one that did not immensely enjoy the Gravity Rush demo. It was alright but I'm certainly not pumped for it like some people here seem to be.
I am looking what great games the 3ds have and its only 1 year on the market, i wish we will see that amount of great games after 1 year, an exclusive Resident evil game and something like kid icarus will be great.
Lets hope Soul Sacrifice wont disappoint.

Lumnies worth it for $36? The demo was fun but does the game get a bit tiring after a while?
I don't think it ever really gets tiring. I don't play it often but when I do I can easily drop a few hours into it. It's one of those games that I don't necessarily play for weeks on end but I keep going back to.
I paid £35 for it and I am still happy with the purchase so yes $36 is a good price.

The sub-rez seems to annoy me more in GR than Uncharted, for whatever reason. I think it's because Golden Abyss is visually very busy, so I never really stop to notice how badly the resolution represents the game. Gravity Rush, however, had a lot less going on so the pop-in + sub rez really stood out for me. I also was taking time to look around more, like panning the camera to face Kat, for instance (which was jarring).Yeah, I thought the demo wasn't THAT amazing but I did really like the gravity gameplay and can see the full game being worth some of the hype. Also, the game's resolution was distracting. It looked pretty washed out. Not sure if it's due to the resolution or something else?
*played the Japanese demo.

What's up with the PSN Store offering E3 trailers for vita games, then when I download them on my Vita it says they're not compatible when I go to run them. That's a bit of a tease. Why offer them on the Vita's store if they don't work?

I've got some Vita advice.
No matter how starved for games you are, don't buy Resistance.
Totally agree with you, i really enjoyed my time with itI disagree completely. I know the reviews agree with you, but I am playing through Resistance right now and I seriously do not get the harsh criticism the game is getting. I have actually been impressed by the graphics at some points, the story is about average for FPS (which typically have ho-hum stories), the weapons are more unique and fun to use then most of the big name FPS's (except for the tinny sound effects). As for the length of the game, it's longer then I expected. I think if you like shooters in the vein of Killzone, Gears, and Resistance it's worth checking out.

It's a shame that the many generations of relatively underpowered handhelds have created the perception that handheld gaming is somehow inferior to console gaming, when, in many ways, and thanks to hardware like the Vita, that's not the case.
As it stands, the Vita can produce a broad variety of games. From small, to large. With the added analog stick, there is now no compromising creating quality games on a handheld.
Sure, you may have to make some graphical adjustments, but just look at Uncharted Vita, Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation, PBR, and quite a few others. Visually, they are looking to be in the same ballpark of their console brothers (with PBR on the Vita looking really, really close to the PS3 version).
It's now possible to have a proper Elder Scrolls, or Fallout, or Mass Effect on a handheld.
I've been playing Disgaea 3 and under 2 hours in I got to the credits. I figured it was some sort of joke but now I'm back to the start.
What's going on?
lololol
post game is 90%. Go talk to the gentleman down the stairs by weapons zombie also you get a bunch of missions from butler dude
Wow, ok. I'll do that. Slightly disappointed as of right now but I'm taking a food break so I'll get back to it later.
The NA/EU preorder bonus includes Kat's military costume and the accompanying mission packs:
Is it just me or is it kind of lame that we miss out on this stuff by buying the game directly from Sony on PSN? If anything we should be getting the free DLC...

It seems a lot, so i dont think think that this is the final price
Arent usually pre-order DLC stuff made as an thing to make you buy the games at a certain store? Is it just me or is it kind of lame that we miss out on this stuff by buying the game directly from Sony on PSN? If anything we should be getting the free DLC...
I think I've seen talk of this, but just want a confirmation:
generally speaking, downloadable versions of the games are more expensive than physical copies from Amazon and the like?
I'd love to stick to digital, but it might just not make great sense.

That could well be true a few weeks or months after release but I think generally (at least in my experience in the UK) if you're buying on day 1 there is almost no difference, perhaps even cheaper on PSN. That was the case for the digital games that I bought during the first week anyway.

I leave Tuesday for Vegas and I would love to have MGS HD on the plane with me, what time should we expect it to be available for Download on PSN?

I could see that being true as well. I'm about to pull the trigger on a VITA and a lot of the games I have interest in like Hot Shots are 19.99 on amazon while 34.99 on the vita store when I look it up on my ps3
There are multiple endings andone of them is triggered by winning one of the initial battles with the overlord. I almost won that fight too but missed the final strike.
I guess you got an alternate ending.

I am more an RPG/adventure game guy. I do intend to pick up a TPS or FPS shooter. Not sure which one to get yet, Unit 13 or Resistance ?
