I'll wait and see if the DS mode doesn't look blurry now. If so I may go for it.

What?if this doesnt scream desperation, i dont know what does
That kind of defeats the purpose of being an XL.. I already have a Lite.In 1:1 mode, it'll be just like the DS Lite.

The Silver/Black is the one I'm thinking about.

DS games will look the same as on DS XL, which is a render I didn't like. Hopefully non 2D 3DS games will transfer better on the bigger screen.
With pixelization though. EDIT: I meant in full screen, now I get what you meant = it can boot DS games at their original size. I now see how it is a good news. Though it may not be practical to reach certain parts of the screen in some touchscreen games. If you boot them in 1:1 mode (hold down select), they'll look identical to how they would on a Lite. Same resolution, and on the 3DS XL, the same size.
Sweet, crisp pixels. You got a DSiXL?With pixelization though.
With pixelization though.
It'll be there just due to the pixels being huge, but the pixel structure will take the edge off. That's also why wanting a higher resolution is ignorant: those games are still going to run at the same resolution, at best you do doubling and get it to look like the Vita, either without a filter or with bilinear filtering. And while that's preferable to DS games on the 3DS when stretched out it's still less ideal than native resolution.Nope. 1:1. Think that through.
The Vita?
You were right, I edited my post.Nope. 1:1. Think that through.
the AC adapter sold separately is a nonsense!!!
WTF nintendo
If you're in North America: Don't worry about it, we'll have it. Sounds like it's a Japanese thing to not bother, maybe due to hardware upgrading or whatever, not sure if that's the same rationale for dumping it in Europe though.the AC adapter sold separately is a nonsense!!!
WTF nintendo
The whole power adapter being sold separately in Jap/EU is ridiculous, it doesn't make sense at all.
Same res? Ugh, I think the OG 3DS looks ancient as it is...
It's region free, right???
