What a race! So happy for Kimi and MSC, pity Grosjean couldn't survive to the finish. LOL at Maldonado and Hamilton.
 
Some of you are taking the vettel hate to another level. The thread was annoying last year with the hamilton hate ( part from me during the first few races ) but this tops that.

I'd be more inclined to say it's the car not him, Jenson hasn't gone from hero to zero in this space of time.

Seems they can't get the set-up right for him.

Could be the setup, again look at what alonso can do with the same car massa has. It could be hamilton who is getting just that bit more out of the mclaren than button can.

How many times did Maldonado do the same thing to other drivers in the race? I seem to remember him forcing Kimi off in the first few laps and the same to Webber on the last corner. The difference being Kimi and Webber have enough respect for their fellow drivers, not to just plough into the side of them.

Maldonado is a cunt. There are so many examples of him doing stupid, dangerous shit in his short time in F1 (Monaco 2012, Spa 2011 to name a couple). I don't care how good he is, he doesn't deserve to have a seat if he can't sort out his temperament.

Guys wants to win and score points and does not care what the public or his fellow drivers think of him. The respect some drivers have for each other when racing is absent with maldonado. A lot of drivers give up a place in a race when they know they have been beat or if they want to try overtaking on another lap. All that to avoid a collusion. Maldonado just doesn't give a fuck.

Here, checked the thread for you since you seem to just be making up posts yourself.

DBT85 is the only guy who said he cheered when Vettel pulled over because he's a Hamilton fan. All the posts about Valencia are nice opinions about the race until you suddenly go, without ANY reason, "ALL THE HATE IS RIDICULOUS" even though there wasn't any hate to begin with and everyone was just talking about the race.

Every weekend it's the same, and I'm getting tired of it. Not everyone is a Vettel fan and some like to see him fail because they're supporting his direct rivals, deal with it or stop reading comments on the internet if you can't handle anyone criticising your favourite driver.
 
I'm mostly happy because Vettel's car failed for once instead of Webber's. Also, if RBR keeps that pace, Vettel will dominate again soon enough.
 
Vettel's race pace was scary good. He has an average of 1s lap quicker over the race before the safety car was called out.
 
Valencia finally produces an amazing race and I can't go back and read the insanity that this thread would have gone through. :(

Man what a freaking race. Fantastic result for Alonso. I am so fucking gutted that Lewis had to go out like that, but Alonso taking the home win certainly softens the blow. Couple that with Kimi and Schumi on the podium and it was a damned fine weekend.

Lastly, OT2 will need to go up soon, in two races probably. Any subtitle suggestions? I was thinking something along the lines of:

The Formula 1 2012 Season |OT2| Why aren't you watching this season?!

Any other ideas?

Yup. I have no issue with the guy in general (though at times he waffles on) but I don't particularly want him to get another championship this year and I want Hamilton to get his second.

Similarly Grojean, nice bloke but I wanted max points for Hamilton and those two dropping out was good for that.

I just hope that the miserable British weather continues until the GP as I don't think that McLaren is too hot (excuse the pun) in the heat.

If your posts don't contain some Vettel love, then you clearly hate him. Go through the thread again and you'll can see that the Vettel love is clearly lacking, which means everyone else is hating him. So yeah, I have to agree with Omiee here. The Vettel hate is getting ridiculous.

Seriously though i know i could be axaderating (what is the right spelling?) a bit but when ever vettel is leading people want him to crash or what ever. But when alonso or hamilton is leading its the best thing to happen on the day.

Lets not ruin the day though amazing drive from shumi and webber!!

Oh my goodness, just got home and DVR'd the race. Amazing! Alonso is such a straight up G. I felt really bad for Hamilton, that dude drives his heart out every race.
 
Just finished watching. WTF, WTF. SOOOOOOOOOO GUTTED at Romain dropping out then Hamilton. WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. Then Koby out then, then WTF.

The only saving grace was Kimi & Schumacher after all that shit! Plus Webber now 2nd in championship.

God damn Alonso, you can drive.
 
Just finished watching the race... WTF hammy :( And Maldanado too.

At least Schumi had a good finish.

Anyone have a link to the trophy presentation? Fox didn't show any of it.

5th or 6th (after he was passed by Schumi and maybe even Webber) are worlds better than out of the points. Looks like he should have given up the spot but even still, only a 20 second penalty for basically crashing into another driver is a little lame.
 
Vitaly Petrov is my driver of the race. The guy was running 11th ten or nine laps before the finish (before being taken out by one half of the worst driver pairing on the grid). With Hamilton and Maldonado coming together, 11th would have become ninth place at the end, with the first points of the season for Petrov and the first points ever for Caterham.

I think it's outright ridiculous that Vettel would utter such things as "they just brought out the safety car to fuck with us" and "they didn't even have to do it!". That's horribly unprofessional behaviour.
 
Im trying to save up to go from williams to red bull in one go, but im bleeding points every week whilst i wait. Might have to spend some of the 25mil next race.

I'd like to add that if you have a car that actually can be fucked with by having to drive behind a safety car for 5-6 laps, then you have a car with a design flaw.

Safety car periods are not rare, it's something you can, and should, be ready for. If you build a car that can only go fast, but overheats when following a safety car, well, you kind of get what you deserve when the car does, in fact, overheat after a safety car period.

There has to be something you can do in the rules to power down the car when running behind the safety car, right? I mean, the rest of the cars seem to manage it just fine. Apart from that one Lotus.
